Bernarda and José's apartment; is large; with several ventilation mechanisms, whether natural or mechanical to make the spaces more comfortable, everything was very clean, timely attention, with special details for us and well located with easy access to the beach and pool; and other nearby amenities. We loved our stay here! Bernarda and Jose were great hosts, super friendly, responsive and attentive. The apartment had everything we needed, super clean and exceeded our expectations. We were greeted with a bowl full of fresh, delicious fruit and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook a few meals when we didn't want to eat at restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed all the wildlife; iguanas, scarlet macaws, white faced capuchins, one giant grasshopper, basilisk, raccoons, other beautiful birds. We did the guided (free!) walking bird tour at the club where we spotted a toucan and 2 sloths! Our guide was awesome and I don't know how he could spot the cool birds and animals we saw. We also visited the butterfly farm without a guide, but still worth the visit. Thank you, Bernarda and Jose!

Amazing stay and outstanding host-Marcela! We arrived with an incredible booklet of things to do, that we had been sent to us. Very thoughtful options and ideas! Condo was squeaky clean and provided generous fruit and drink items to get us started. The view is spectacular. Beach access was private and convenient. Calm beautiful water. Would recommend Marcella and his place, without reservation, to anyone!! We look forward to a return visit.

Their home was amazing. It was hard to find using google maps. Maps did not work in Costa Rica. Don’t go by the address that prints on the document for immigration. This place is located in the forest. Lizard and crabs are common everywhere. We had crabs in the bedroom. This is what you get being in the forest. Our sleep was disturbed by people at the beach at 6:30 am. Nice home just as described. Will rerun again.
