Monthly Rentals in Otiake River

What can we say about this stunning place 😍 The accommodation itself has been beautifully styled- it’s so cosy and peaceful, and the kind of place you never want to leave. It has everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was amazing and the grounds are great for a walk down to the river. It’s super dog-friendly and our dog loved exploring and playing with gorgeous Rumi! The fresh bread in the morning was such a thoughtful and delicious treat! We can’t wait to come back and to see what else lies in store for this gem of a place. Thank you, Tim, for a great stay and being a brilliant host!

We had a lovely stay whilst doing part of the Alps to Ocean bike ride. Really cosy place. The hot tub was the perfect temperature. The apple cake if you opt for dinner was brilliant. The only heads up I'd give other guests is that if you're over 5' 9 you might be ducking slightly in part of the bus, and there's no electricity inside. Neither was a problem for us though.

Great location to town and small park, all just a block away. Kitchen was setup nicely. large refrigerator. easy checkout. Nick flower outside, great sunset and sunrise.

A nice little place about 5 km from Timaru, in a rural setting. Elvie is available if we needed her but didn’t see her that much. The unit is separate from the owners house. It is better in person than in the pictures. Excellent value for money :-) Thanks Elvie and Garry!
