Thank you so much Kyoko for having me. Your home was so clean and welcoming. I really felt like I was at my own home. Thank you for the nice note and breakfast and thank you for the great Saho river recommendation. It was one of the best parts of my trip. I felt sad to leave. Next time I come back, I will stay for longer. Thank you again for the great experience.

The owner is very kind. We came after the event, and you were very accommodating even though the check-in time had changed considerably. This time, I came after the bathing facility, but if you want to use the bath, you can leave the hot water in the bathtub by contacting us in advance. The facility itself is a little old, but it was beautifully renovated, and there was no Japanese-style room or uncomfortable at all. The heater was turned on, so I didn't mind the cold, and the futon was prepared with two futons for the cold. We were very satisfied with the homey breakfast. This time, I visited late at night and left early in the morning, so I just stayed to sleep, but I wanted to stay a little more slowly if I had the opportunity. Thank you!

Exceptionally warm and friendly. Because of the train station directly in front of the house, we had an easy way to Nara(~20min) and Osaka Namba (~40min), direct train connection. We had no trouble sleeping. Apart from trains passing, the area is very quiet. The view at night from our room (3 bed room) was gorgeous, and the breakfast in their cafe is delicious. For me it is one of the best places I have stayed.

Kyoto accommodation with free shuttle service

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Naoko’s home. From all my years of using AirBnb she stands out as an incredible host. We enjoyed relaxing in this spacious apartment, soaking in the backyard hot tub with the bamboo forest, exploring nearby Fushimi Inari shrine, and cooking breakfast. The beds were comfy and linens very soft. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station but we enjoyed walking through the quiet neighborhoods. We typically took a cab back at the end of the day and this was cheap and easy from the local train station. Highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to return here for our next trip to Kyoto.

The location was nice, easy to find and close to a train station. We had 3 adults, 2 adults shared a room but there was plenty of room. It was clean and the people were very nice to us. I would recommend staying there.

Close to the station and walking distance to Super Tamade. The south exit of the Nankai Line and the JR line Tsutenkaku exit has an elevator and is convenient.(I don't use the subway, so I don't know.) They helped me keep my luggage before check-in. I was relieved to hear back from you soon. The front desk was polite and very good. It was new, clean, and I had a pleasant time.

Onigiri House (Western-style room)

SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Sano family perfectly embodies what "home away from home" truly means. My stay was a heartwarming, comfortable, and unique addition to my trip to Japan! Great communication before my arrival. It rained a lot during my visit, but despite the weather, Sano-san kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the station to keep me from getting soaked. I was lucky enough to enjoy two home-cooked meals at their house, they are delicious! The nearby hot spring was perfect for unwinding at the end of my trip. Sano-san was kind to ask about my plans for my last day and ended up taking me to gem shops in and around Kaizuka city to help me find the items I had wanted but hadn’t had a chance to buy. One night at the Sano family's home was simply too short—I truly wish I had more time to enjoy their hospitality and explore the area further. I can't wait to return someday to see their adorable poodle, Vamos, who will likely have grown into an even bigger boy by then. 100% recommended!

An authentic Japanese house (Home-stay)Room#WABI

We had a wonderful time staying at Chieri’s home. It’s the ideal spot if you’re looking to escape the busy tourist zones and enjoy some peace and quiet. The place is perfectly communicated with other cities, making it easy to explore the region. Chieri is an amazing host, and staying here gave us a truly authentic taste of Japanese culture. Thank you!

Breakfast included! Conveniently located cute B&B # 1

ChitraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thank you, Kuniko, for the best B&B experience we’ve had in Japan. The place is charming, modern, and in a really convenient location. Our room was compact but had everything we needed — a kitchen, dining space, and even a laundry room. It was easy to get to the station, which made getting around simple. And the breakfasts at the café downstairs were such a nice touch — tasty and comforting, just like the chats we had with Kuniko each morning. We’d happily stay here again if we’re back in Osaka. Already thinking about it! 🥰

[Popular Choice with Breakfast] Sleep on a futon, Family & Group, Japanese-style room with key [6 tatami/8 tatami (can be partitioned with fusuma)]

It was a very friendly owner and the description was very courteous. The information of local recommended restaurants and public baths (natural hot springs) was also accurate. There were also toys for children in the room, and there were attention to detail. Breakfast sandwiches are all delicious, but curry flavors are recommended (laughs)

Tsukiya-Mikazuki-old western style double room

MattRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I planned a trip to Kyoto with a classic B&B vibe in mind and while there was no opportunity to eat all together, Tsukiya was perfect! Location was exactly where we wanted to be in the city, with easy access to public transit and even walkable areas. The breakfasts every morning were thoughtfully crafted starting about 2 hours beforehand. The space was authentic - highly recommend to anyone going to Kyoto!

Atelier Bee's Knees Bed & Breakfast

A pure sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate. The location is at the top of beautiful and quiet Koyodai. The combination of the warmth of Sachiyo’s and Justin’s hospitality and the impeccable design of their home and the meals unmatched in terms of quality of ingredients and flavor was perfection. I am grateful for the simple touches of care and creativity each day. I felt welcome and so happy. I look forward to seeing them again. My heartfelt thanks go out to them.

Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe/JR大阪30min/Free breakfast/Kimono

PitRating, 5 stars3 days ago
My stay at Miyagon's place was great. I was picked up from the train station and there was a well organized check-in. The space was clean and exactly as the description. In addition, free drinks and snacks were available. There was super delicious breakfast every morning, partly with local fruits that I had never eaten before. Miyagon herself was super friendly, always easily accessible and gave me lots of useful tips for the trip. Thanks to a translation device, which you always had with you, communication was also easy. The house is located directly on a street that is full of Sakurabäme. In addition, there are many restaurants and shopping opportunities in the area. The only thing I found unfortunate is that I hadn't booked the place for a longer period of time.
