We really enjoyed staying at the golden hour! The hosts were very responsive and helpful! They had sound machines in every bedroom which if you have kids is a big deal. The toys and kids activities there were a big hit! The pools are pristine and the whole outdoor area is very nice! Very short walk to beach which was also convenient! They literally thought of everything, if you forgot something chances are they had it! Definitely recommend staying here if you have children and want a nice low key place to stay!

Awesome location on a quiet road close to the beach, restaurants and grocery store. Perfectly appointed accommodations as pictured. Appreciated the cleaning supplies and travel size toiletries. We will definitely stay again!

Blousier Point was magnificent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Grocery store was close by and the home was convenient to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The home was beautiful and so cozy. Plenty of room to relax and play games , nice outdoor area and so peaceful. We will plan a return trip.

We enjoyed a 4 night stay at Paint the Beach Pink in January 2025. The house completely met the description provided by host Bradley. It snowed during our stay and quite quickly, Bradley arranged to have the stairs to the house, and the driveway, cleared. So easily accessible to the VA Beach Boardwalk and a short drive from other activities in the area (e.g., museums). We took advantage of our stay to partake of VA Beach Restaurant Week.

A Very Pleasant Place to stay. Secluded with a Nice Pond and Saltwater Pool. Very Pleasant Hosts Mike and Courtney! Nice and clean Inside. Great communications with Alice Also! We hope to visit again! Highly Recommended! Great place to stay! We came to Visit Nas Oceana for Annual Airshow! Not far away! Hope to return Next year!

Lots of stairs but otherwise a wonderful home with the most amazing sunset views. Very comfortable and lots of things available that helped us to be comfortable and have a wonderful Christmas holiday with our family of all ages. Would love to stay during the summer months. We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

Holly and John are amazing, communicative hosts with a beautiful house. A block from the beach. An inviting sunroom. Most importantly everything was clean and all of the amenities and appliances worked exactly as described. We will definitely check for with John and Holly first, before our next visit to the area.

We stayed at Pinch Me for a family get together. Lots f room so we could all have some private space as well meeting areas. LARGE kitchen and dining table allowed us to cook and eat together. Also had beach access right across a very quiet street. I would absolutely recommend this house.

This place was perfect for our stay. It's in a great location for our visit with relatives over the holidays and had just the right space and amenities to host our family of five comfortably. Denise was very communicative throughout and I felt like we had her support. Given the convenient location and amenities, we would definitely stay here again.

Where to begin? This home is beautiful inside & out, spotless and well equipped. We found everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We were able to serve meals, spend time together as a family and relax together. Host is extremely responsive, catering to everything we asked of her. She checked in with us just to be sure everything was as expected. All 3 beds were uber comfy and everyone had the privacy they needed. As a family of 5 we never felt cramped or like there wasn't enough space. If we ever return to the Newport News area we will definitely book this home again. Can't say enough how amazing our stay was. Thank you E for making our family event so comfortable! Five stars all around!

With every vacation rental, you will always remember how you slept and what you did. With that being said, the beds slept amazing and there is SO much to do at John’s rental! We hate we were only coming through town and couldn’t stay longer. The place is immaculately clean and better than the pics even show. We would definitely look to stay there again.

This is the second time my family has stayed at one of Bonnie’s places and it was fantastic. The house was spacious and the yard was enjoyed by all. The shared pier was a great spot for our teens to take pictures and the shared beach was perfect for the littles to swim and play in the sand. Sharmane house worked well for us! 5 adults and 5 kids was a bit of a tight fit, but with two adults taking a couch each, we made it work! The house is clean, everything works, and the price is right. Thanks Sharmane!

Exactly as described in the listing. Three families stayed here comfortably, and Xiang was an excellent host! The kids (14, 14, 11, 7, & 5) had plenty of space to play, and the grow ups had plenty of space to relax. A great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing!

We needed a house at short notice as another one fell through. Sara was great. She replied straight away and was able to accommodate us straight away. Beautiful home, very well furnished. Large comfy beds. Thanks again.

If you are looking for a peaceful getaway on the water where you can unwind or explore the Norfolk/Portsmouth/Chesapeake/VA Beach area…look no further: this home is a gem. Even though in a neighborhood; the yard is secluded and the perfect place to relax and leave the chaos of life behind. Our host was charming and helpful and super communicative. Our family of 5 absolutely adored our stay and would highly recommend! Downtown Portsmouth is quaint and has some great eating establishments as well as eat access to the ferry over to Norfolk. Grocery shopping is very easy with a Kroger, Super Walmart & Food Lion all close by. I would stay here all over again if we’re ever back in the area. Absolutely ideal for our quick two night stop by to see family. Great for the dog with the fully fenced back yard. Everything was awesome. Xmas decorations were the added bonus! Thanks so much.
