This cosy apartment in Koolunga House was the perfect home-from-home for 5-weeks during a local work placement. The location was ideal, far enough away from the business of Great Yarmouth, but close to local shops, food spots and a walk along the river to Gorleston's lovely sandy beach and cliffs - great for coffee and dog spotting! The house has endless character and the balcony was a dreamy escape - both during the day overlooking the lush garden and dragonflies, and in the evenings for spotting stars and fireworks in the distance. The owners and house manager were a message away and really helpful. I would absolutely stay at Koolunga House again if I’m ever back in the area.✨

Modern chalet with everything we needed. So many little touches that we weren't expecting, a very nice welcome pack, lots of tea and coffee, salt and pepper loo rolls, etc. It was cold and wet for most of the time we were there but the chalet was warm and cosy. Big enclosed decking area for our dogs. Will be looking to book again.

Lovely apartment in a great location and central to everything. Ideal for families with a smooth check in process. The rooms were well furnished with comfortable beds and everything we needed. We very much appreciated having a family bathroom and a separate ensuite. Welcome pack was a nice touch too. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

This is the most amazing flat in an incredible position. We loved every bit of our stay. The flat was beautifully decorated and well equiped. The view over the sea and the pier was stunning and we loved exploring the area. The local shops and the restaurants were a treat. Thank you, Hilary, for being such a perfect Host. x

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Christine’s property as for us it is conveniently located to visit family. The house is always clean and warm, well equipped and maintained with everything needed for a stay. The extra touches such as Christmas decorations , and welcome items are really lovely and appreciated. The beds are comfortable and the house is quiet and warm.

Stayed here for two nights whilst working in the area, beautiful home in a peaceful neighbourhood, sea view from the front bedroom window and lovely local pub called Oddfellows around the corner where the regulars couldn’t have been more friendly plus added bonus of a lovely Labrador who just loves the attention, will definitely be looking at re booking very soon

What a beautiful place! A group of the girls got together for my 40th, and we had such a lovely time. A couple of things came up, but things that Lee was so quick to respond to, where possible. We didn’t use the games, or TVs, but they have a great selection of games & a TV in each room. We loved the jukebox & the open layout of the downstairs kitchen/diner/lounge. The place feels very tucked away, whilst also being very central, which is great. The welcome wine & snacks were a lovely touch. Thank you!

We really loved our stay, over Christmas. The place is even better than it looked in them photos and we had a very comfortable stay. We really appreciated the Christmas tree too! That was a very thoughtful touch.

Used the house as a base while we visited family nearby. The living area was extremely comfortable and the whole house was warm and cosy. Although we didn’t use the garden it looks lovely and would be great in the summer. Horning is a lovely village and the house is perfectly placed to explore.

Very responsive and friendly hosts. A lot of thought and care has gone to the decor and the location was perfect. I would be interested in staying there again!

We had a wonderful stay over New Year's! Filippa was an excellent host, always quick to respond to our messages. The barn was thoughtfully designed, offering plenty of different spaces for everyone to relax or socialise. Our children especially enjoyed spotting Clogs the goat and the horses each morning.

It felt like home right away. Having a lovely hamper to greet us was a bonus I’m definitely coming back Communication was brilliant Roll on next year

Well, what can we say, this is a lovely apartment overlooking the sea. We spent hours just looking out of the window at the view of the sea, and the passing ships. The apartment was very comfortable, and had everything you needed for a terrific stay. The most comfortable Airbnb bed we have slept in.👍 We will definitely stay again.😀

Beautiful, calming stay. The apartment was perfect in everyway. Extremely comfortable bed, lounge was cosy with on demand TV. The highlight was the sauna which was super easy to use and so therapeutic. The decking a perfect spot to relax with a coffee watching life on the river was so idyllic. Verity was the perfect host, even though it was brief, I feel blessed to have met her.

A luxury stay in a wonderful location. We came to (responsibly) see the seals and couldn't have been happier with Elaine's annexe: the bed was very comfortable and a great size and we found the lounge nice and cosy for two. We also loved that it was dog friendly, and Flint our saluki cross enjoyed exploring the beautiful coastal dunes that are meters away from the property. Thank you Elaine for the generous welcome pack that made the warm welcome to the annexe feel even warmer. We hope to return again next year.

We found this place to stay for a spontaneous one-night trip to Brancaster and we were not disappointed. Beautifully decorated, huge comfy bed and everything you need to flop and drop! The small kitchenette had everything we needed to cook breakfast (which was provided!) plus the added bonus of fresh cookies! We booked an early dinner reservation at The White Horse (which was amazing!), then took a late-night stroll on the beach as the sun went down. The following day we spent at Brancaster beach to rest, relax and recharge before driving home. A lovely break and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay over Christmas for our family of 6 whilst visiting our gap year son who was working in Norwich over Christmas. We were 2 adults &4 kids aged 9,15,17&19. Briony was very swift to answer any questions&she made special efforts to make the place look festive, we even had a mini Christmas tree and lights to make us feel at home. The pub was only open on Christmas Eve (looked lovely but didn’t manage to visit) we couldn’t hear any pub noise from the flat.Entrance to the flat was clearly explained,through the back of the pub kitchen then to a staircase up to the flat, a little unusual but no prob at all. The flat was lovely, very well equipped kitchen,we managed to cook our turkey no problem with all the trimmings! 2 bathrooms v. handy.All of the bedrooms were very spacious with chic hotel decor yet with the added comforts which made it feel homely at the same time. The flat was easy to find, close to station, Cathedral & city centre.Couldn’t have been better, thanks so much

It’s okay to pull right up and unload all of your stuff right in front of the iron gate. It’s a pretty melow and sleepy seaside yown concerning such matters. Host said up to ten minutes parking there should be okay. Note that the road that the apartment entrance is located on is a single-lane “alleyway” and easy to pass right by. Comingbfrom Sainsburys and heading down Nicholas Road, it is the small street just before the light at Regent Street. You can ise the Just Park app to park at Sainsburys cheaply, but recommend parking at the southern edge of the parking lot in some of the wider family spaces. I got a major ding on the side of my car from parking in the busier section of the parking lot for several days.

First time family visit to Cromer and Patricia's place was a fantastic location to explore the local area, being close to the beachfront, shops and restaurants. The apartment was immaculate with stunning views of the surrounding area, which came in handy watching the carnival parade and evening fireworks display from the top floor lounge area. Would definitely return again and would highly recommend to those considering a break in Cromer!
