Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Norwich

Julie was a great host, with a lovely property. Very spacious and lots of things to do. A great place which created lots of memories for all of us. Would definitely recommend and stay again :)

We stayed at The Burrow for a big family Christmas get together. The property is unique and full of character and we are all going home with amazing lifelong memories of the time we spent there. Helen's thoughtful personal touches made it feel really special and put us at ease straight away such as age appropriate toys and books left on the children's beds and lovely home made mince pies. The outbuildings were perfect for our older family members and were beautifully kept and well equipped. Thank you Helen so much for letting us share your beautiful home!

After a rocky start at another property which was entirely unsuitable we found Georgie’s home nearby and it was perfect! We were so lucky it was available and Georgie was so accommodating at the last minute. It really felt like we were staying at a friends house and we felt immediately at home the moment we walked in the door. It was clean, welcoming and you could tell it was a loved and happy home. Staying at Georgie’s house made our Christmas so special and relaxing. It was like a home away from home; full of love and warmth in the decor and atmosphere. Great to be so close to the coast and great amenities yet in a very quiet and peaceful environment. We were sad to leave and will definitely always consider it as a go to place when visiting north Norfolk.

We had a lovely stay, the position was perfect for us as we were visiting our daughter in the village. Stunning views from the house, which was very comfortable.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this house. It was a perfect venue for a dual family Christmas post engagement. We needed a venue that could feel like a home with 10 people in it, and we got exactly what we needed. Our host was charming, proactive and helpful. The place was exactly as described with a few unexpected benefits (like the lovely coffee shop over the road), and definitely one we’d return to.

Joe's place was easy to find, had plenty of parking for our 4 cars, it was a very cosy quirky house lots of toys and games for the children, plenty of beds, lovely big kitchen and oven to cook our Christmas dinner in. It had a nice piano which the adults played for the children, they had put up Christmas decorations for us which was a magical touch for us, the wood burner was so nice to put on in the cold evenings or after we had been out for a walk. we had a nice dinner a couple of days after Christmas down the pub at the end of the road. The children loved the freedom of the house and garden, they loved walking down to the field to see the chickens in the morning and before it went dark. There very friendly cat kept trying to creep in through the cat flap. It wasn't far from Norwhich which we went to a few times, we drove to Theford Forest and did a Elf walk and the Gruffalo walk which the children loved. All in all it was a wonderful family Christmas get away. Thank you Joe and Fam.

Absolutely stunning location, this really felt like a home from home. It was just what we were looking for. We had a quiet cosy girly weekend here, the hot tub was a perfect addition and was great for star gazing across the fields. Shuan is super fast to reply to messages, and even managed to accommodate a late check out for us. The space was just like the photos, very cute and cosy. Highly recommend this location, a couple of us are even thinking about rebooking at some point in the future to come back with Hubby and boyfriend for a couples cosy weekend. Thank you Shaun and Helen for the hospitality, and the cookies were a delicious touch!

I cannot thank the hosts enough for their hospitality. Questions were answered promptly, they were flexible , all you had to do was ask. The place was pristine and very well kept and I can't fault it in any way. If I am in the local area I wouldn't hesitate getting their accommodation again. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Thank you to Louis and Roy for creating Moat Island. We felt really lucky to stay. Magical place as if someone’s Imagination dreamt it up. When new guests arrived you could hear them making the amazed sounds we did. Excellent and social open kitchen, loved that. The tents are top quality, sturdy, warm, large and homely, dry as a bone. Bed so comfy. Private own patch of space. Around our tent was our own family fire pit and a table to eat at, a compost loo if we didn’t feel like heading to the very well made modern bathrooms on site. Kids liked the hammock and swing bench. The natural pool was incredible, could of sat on the deck all day looking at the scene, lovely to swim in. Peaceful, driveable to everything - we went to the Broads, Fritton Owl Sanctuary, the North Coast, Holt, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and into Norwich. Could just stay on the campsite all day though, plenty to do. I didn’t want to leave, will be back!

Fabulous stay. Glorious facilities and incredible nature all around. The natural pool is very special. Great to have covered fully equipped kitchen as well as individual fire pits and tripod for more outdoorsy experience. Great warm tents. Will definitely come again.

Greg’s place is great for a weekend away - quiet and peaceful but close enough to Norwich and the coast so we could go exploring. Greg was very helpful and the studio is well equipped for cooking etc.

We loved Adrian's dorectors shed. It's got loads of character & charm, the kitchen was really well kitted out, the bed comfortable & I loved lounging in the roll top bath! We also really enojoyed watching a couple of films projected onto the big screen & with great sound too. He had also left a great selection of films. We were able to connect to our phone via an HDMI cable. We were a little confused on the first night about how to get th sound working, but as soon as we messaged Adrian appeared to help us & his son let us know we just needed the sound to be coming through position A & it all worked beautifully. Such a lovely place.

A great place to stay- it's a beautifully renovated yet wonderfully original wagon, that's comfortable and well appointed for any retreat. We really enjoyed the garden space to be amongst the fruits and vegetables and Bertie the horse! Wish we could've stayed longer! Overall just the tranquility we wanted. Thanks to Julia for being great and accommodating host.

We loved our stay here. Very quiet and secluded with lovely surroundings. The cabin was cosy and had everything you'd need and more. Our dog loved running around the grounds and had a play with Digger. It's only a short drive to Sheringham and perfect for dog friendly beaches. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you.

What a cosy pod, a perfect combination of comfort and practicality. Excellent shower, more than adequate kitchenette. The weather happened to be terrible but the pod stood out as quiet, warm and homely. We didn't see much of the farm, but seemed like a nice place and worth another visit in the spring.

This place is absolutely brilliant. Spotlessly clean. Beautiful surroundings. All you need and more. Would not hesitate to book again.

We had a lovely one night stay at &Last carriage. It was incredibly peaceful, beautifully quaint, and was just what we were looking for, for a little weekend getaway. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful time at the Miller’s Shed! The shed is beautiful and so spacious, the outdoor bath is a real romantic treat and the indoor shower is sublime. We made a few log fires as well. We went as a pre-Christmas trip with our dog and she loved it too! There was a Christmas tree and fairy lights which made the place feel cosy and festive. There are plenty of walks around, you’re a short drive from the beach and Sam and Mark had so many brilliant recommendations: walks, cafés, farm markets, pubs, restaurants. It was the ideal getaway, even better than we imagined it would be. We cannot recommend it enough!
