Chalet holiday rentals in New Zealand

Tania and Andy are amazing hosts, very friendly and helpful. The Moon Lodge is one of a kind, the details and all the little things were above and beyond. The outside tub is set in a beautiful sea of flowers and plants, soaking in the tub under the stars was truly magical. House was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked has stove/oven, large fridge, outdoor grill, everything you need to make your own meals easily. The bathroom was large and luxurious and stocked with lots of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toilet paper etc. Bed was very comfortable with nice quality linens. The location and place were very comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. We will definitely be back!

The chalet is well located, it's a quiet and peaceful place. It's about 10 minutes walk from the Wanaka tree and about 25 minutes walk from downtown. The hosts have been responsive and attentive to our needs. We had a lovely time. Thank you so much.

Had an increadible time staying in Birdsong, Tanya was incredibly accommodating, warm and friendly. The home was beautiful and surpassed our expectations! Very tranquil, relaxing, cozy atmosphere. Even more increadible than in the photos! Couldn't fault the experience and would love to come again in the future, definately a must do. Highly recommend :)

Such a great spot nestled in the forest with access to the Truman Track for those true beach views. While the ocean is within sight on the top level, this is truly a forest house and it is enjoyable to leave a window open and listen to the birds. We enjoyed using the sound system and felt like all our needs were met - would definitely return.

Cute little property, quite secluded but shares land with main house (not visible as behind large shed). Bath is luxe. Bed is comfy. Very quiet. Great stars.

We had a 4-day event in Omori Lodge, and 8 of us stayed at the chalet. Both are amazing venues and Chris was a fantastic host. Lightning-fast responses to our questions and nothing was a problem. I highly recommend both Omori Lodge and Omori Chalet. We'll be back!

Wow! Brendan's place was absolutely wonderful. So peaceful, so private and just lovely. We loved being able to walk down the Truman trail to the beach at low tide and again to watch the sunset. We loved the rustic decor in the home. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back if we visit this area again. Thank you Brendan.

The Retreat was fantastic - so good we wish that we could have stayed for longer than one night. Peaceful setting overlooking the water - the view from cottage 3 was incredible in my opinion. The owners greeted us upon arrival, provided great local restaurant recommendations and otherwise ensured we had whatever we needed. Tons of space for our family of 4. The property gives off a classic vibe, and it is clear they are updating and upgrading the units with new amenities, appliances, etc. The wood burning stove added a warm ambiance for a peaceful family movie night overlooking the lights across the lake. A highlight of our roadtrip so far.

Easy flexible check-in, and beautiful view of lake Taupo. Loved all the windows letting all the natural light in.

We stayed here for a few days on either side of our helicopter wedding based out of Queenstown. The Goldleaf Chalet was an incredible place to stay and make a special time in our lives feel very special indeed. Practically every window has stunning views, and the spa was so relaxing to sit in and watch the clouds go by. The house is well equipped and so pleasant to be in. I definitely teared up as we left at check out. We'll never forgot our stay here 🥰

Such a beautiful home with lots of character. Perfect spot for a few families and lots of room for the kids to run around outside. We loved our stay and will be back hopefully next snow season 😊

Good place for family

Our stay in Rotorua was great! Nerida has a lovely home with easy access to the pool, restaurant and tennis courts. The views of the lake were stunning and we enjoyed staying here!

Wonderful accommodation with a stunning view of Lake Taupo. A step up from the typical AirBnB, great host communication, stunning location, really comfy accommodation setup.

Love the retreat. The hosts were extremely kind & accomodating and the house was absolutely beautifully clean. It’s a bonus we could take our dogs, they loved the lake!

The Retreat was absolutely perfect for our stay in Taupo! Sparkling clean, super comfortable beds and stunning views of the lake from every window, sitting out on the balcony for breakfast was a delight. Good clean property which is close to the city center - a short 5 mins drive. Having your own vehicle is recommended. The place is fully equipped and great for a group of 3-5 people.
