Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Nakagyo Ward

The Cozy House is a great little place in a quiet, convenient neighborhood. The hosts, Kei and Hitoshi, are wonderful! The Sanjo Market is a very short walk away and there are many restaurants and shops there. As with all of Kyoto that I saw during my 2+ month stay, public transportation is only steps away from the Cozy House. I loved living there.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Kyoto. It was well stocked with toiletries, snacks, and green tea. The hosts we very welcoming and we enjoyed the location.

It is really a great homestay, my friends and I are very happy, it is really convenient for travelers who want to cook, and the utensils are fully equipped!Both were able to wash at the same time while taking a shower, the hot water was stable, and the host responded instantly with any questions, highly recommended!

It is close to Kyoto Station and Aeon Mall.The place is clean and tidy, really has a Japanese family feel, you can smell the light wood scent when entering the house, the owner's daughter is kind, friendly and welcoming, we are going to check out the day we are going to visit another six-person room type house of the owner's daughter, this house is a Japanese style tatami, the other is modern, I really recommend this one night when people come to Kyoto for a trip.

The facilities are very well equipped, the host responds in a timely manner, and the property is very clean. I hope to have the opportunity to stay again next time.

Clean environment, close to station, very convenient

Yasushi was an exceptional host and his property was the best place I have stayed at in Japan thus far. Will definitely recommend it to family and friends and plan to stay with him again next time I’m in Kyoto.

The house is very clean. The facilities are new and the hosts are very friendly. Close to Kyoto station and lots of convenience stores and stores. Don Quijote is also nearby. Highly recommended.

Out of the many accommodations I've had so far in my travel in Japan this one ranked the no. 1 so far, The place is spacious, clean and tidy, the door lock is digital so you won't have to carry a traditional key and worry of losing it, and what's good about this accommodation is the location the grocery store is just a stone throw away, you can also choose if you'd like to go to Lawson or 7/11. There's also a manual translated in English to aid you how to use the appliances etc. I love the Television with Netflix hahahaha. This place is highly recommended to go around Kyoto its very accessible by City Bus to all Tourist Attractions and Train as well. If you love peace and quiet this one is for you. Over all I had a very comfortable stay in this place.

Love the surroundings and ambience. It was peaceful and serene. The air is fresh and clean. Easy to move around and Uber eats / transport are available. Love the space and facilities. Only downside was cos it was winter.. the flooring was super cold. Indoor slippers were provided but hope they were thicker. Overall it was easy and convenient for us family of 6. Host was responsive and helpful. Always replying our queries promptly.

It was a large and clean room.I was also happy with the fact that the lock was numbered, and that I was able to see netflix. It was about a 15-minute walk from the nearest station, and there were no supermarkets or izakayas around.There is a convenience store and Japan nearby, so I was able to buy simple meals.

Very good accommodation, the room is relatively large, suitable for family or group stay. The landlord is very nice and enthusiastic, and he responded to questions quickly. The landlord is also a traveler and will pick us up at the station. This free service fee is very good. The location of this house is very convenient. It is a few hundred meters away from the station and subway station. It is easy to get to various scenic spots. There is a convenience store downstairs and there are large supermarkets around. It is very convenient for daily life and shopping. I highly recommend this accommodation to everyone

I stayed for 3 nights and 4 days with my mother and brother. The place was so clean and nice. You were so kind, and since it was a contactless check-in and check-out, it was convenient and there were no difficulties. I'd like to visit again next time if I have a chance. There was a review that said it was noisy, but there was no problem staying!! However, it was a pity that Ondol was a familiar Korean, so I felt a little cold. But other than that, it was such a perfect accommodation! Thanks to you, I made good memories with my family!

The host was very responsive and made it easy to check in half an hour early.The house was easy to find and the instructions were clear and easy to follow.The house is very comfortable. It is very comfortable.

i was looking for a more rural area to get a good feel of the local community. The restaurants, convenience store and pharmacy all close by, the subway was a 4 min walk away, the community sport center is close by, I enjoyed the area, it was a good experience all over. Andres

Instructions are great, the place is still a little hard to find. But oh so worthwhile. It's a great part of town. Close to interesting things. Quiet. Well connected. We loved having space and room to live. It was warm, clean, and well appointed. Really appreciated having a washing machine. Drying upstairs worked well. Even in the middle of winter. The hosts are really responsive and helpful. This place is a solid base for exploring kyoto and osaka. Thank you.

The room is clean and very comfortable

Your hospitality has been amazing, from the moment we arrived; your personal touch with the chalk board welcome and taking the time to wait patiently for us to arrive and sit with us before showing us through Locokokoro House is memorable. The special touches like the world map you have with us now pinned on it and your hand drawn map of the local area, we’re amazing.. we had such a fun adventure using it to find your dining recommendations one night. Thank you also for the Komono experience and introducing us to your dog ‘Eight’ it was great! As for the home, the beds were comfortable, water was steamy hot & the kitchen well stocked! We loved our stay here & would return again!

It is used as a permanent accommodation when staying in Kyoto.Not only the inn itself, but also the calm surrounding environment is attractive, and it is not a crowded area with tourists, so you can relax and have a relaxing time.There are also many delicious restaurants and stylish cafes around, and you can enjoy a stroll through the Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden, which boasts a large area.We enjoy walking along the Kamo River with our dog, Rough Collie.

The stay at 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門 was extremely homely. The host communicated clearly the instructions to locate it and we were 5-7min walking over from Kyoto Station with 4 luggage. The host was very welcoming, clearing introducing us to all the amenities around the house from the lounge to the bedroom to the washer-dryer. In our two nights stay at 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門, we were able to experience living in a heritage machiya yet enjoyed the convenience of modernity furnishings. We will return to 京都駅前町家 嘉右衛門 if we come through Kyoto again, and recommend it to all our friends.
