The number of houses you will stay in depends on the size of your group. Please read the details below in the "Space" section. These houses are fully furnished, and all necessary appliances are provided. You can easily walk to famous attractions and the subway station. The house will be a wonderful base from which to explore the city.

Fiber LAN & Wifi. Quiet, traditional neighborhood. Peaceful retreat in beautiful historic Kyoto. 2 basic bicycles provided, with signed agreement (additional depending on availability). Guesthouse proceeds support cat rescue org located in neighborhood. Reservations available for visits to cat play area.

Located in the heart of Kyoto, we are just a 7-minute walk from the Imperial Palace and Imadegawa Station (K06), with Kyoto Station only 10 minutes away by subway. We offer four bicycles free of charge for you to explore the charming backstreets that buses cannot reach. Additionally, for long stay guests , we provide a complimentary shuttle service to or from Kyoto Station upon request.

Akarisou means ‘Light House’ I chose this name in the hope that this house would be ‘Light’ to my guests In the main bed room, you’ll find a wall decoration made of wooden lattice which is like ‘Sunshine’ There's a free parking lot in front of my house　(max size of the car: 4.5m×2.5m) , super convenient if you travel by car! A primary school is in front of my house so you can enjoy spacious view and nature of school ground from the veranda.
