Holiday rentals with beach access in Muskegon River

The house was very clean, comfortable & fairly spacious. The beds were very comfortable as well. All items in house worked fine and parking was great. Price was appropriate for the area. Very close to beach.

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

Such a great place to stay. So CLEAN!! Nice hosts! Had everything we needed. Quiet location while being close to so much! I usually don’t love staying somewhere attached to the house- but this was by far the best experience we have had with a spot like this!

Second time I have stayed with Ron and Judy. I always feel at home and so loved. They always look out for me and make sure I am ok and if I need anything. Even checked on my oil leak in my car I did not know I had. Their place is always beautiful and just like the pictures ( I think better than the pictures). You could not ask for a better host. Your Peaches will be back soon.

I love studio apartments and this one was clean and inviting. We walked and ate at the diner, Penny’s Pizza and Mexican Bar and Grill. I recommend all of them. I also walked across the street and bought fresh donuts. If you enjoy the serenity of nostalgic downtown life this may be a place for you. We had a very pleasant stay and Bill was very kind and responsive. Safe Travels 😊

Lovely little upstairs apartment, much warmer to come home to after a day full of meetings than a hotel.

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

What a gorgeous place! Private, clean and beautiful accommodations. Jessica was prompt with every encounter and worked with us on gaining access when we checked in outside the normal time for obtaining a key. Beautiful surroundings right on the bay, EVERYTHING we needed was on hand. Highly recommended and would definitely stay again. Beware if you have physical issues because there are a lot of steps just to enter, but wow what a space!

The hosts were informative and responsive, and the guest house had lots of cedar that added to its charm. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well supplied. We appreciated the Brita water filtration for drinking. The passcode entry was easy to use, and it was very private and peaceful during our stay. The location was ideal for enjoying Douglas, Saugatuck, the beaches and surrounding area.

This was a fantastic place for our girl's weekend. I am sure there was lots we could walk to downtown - except the weather took a nose dive and the high one day was 12 with a wind chill below zero - so we opted to stay in the house and just relax and enjoy some time chatting and relaxing. Was a very comfortable home with lots of space!

We really enjoyed a long weekend at the Mermaid Casita! Frederick was a great host, gave us local recommendations, and made sure we felt comfortable with everything. The location is amazing. Loved being right by the lake/beach, falling asleep to sounds of waves crashing and the best sunset views. Be prepared for stairs to get down to the casita and back to your vehicle as well as down to the beach. The bed was comfy, kitchen had all the necessary essentials. One-of-a-kind space!

We had a great stay! The house is very centrally located, walkable to groceries and great restaurants, well furnished and decorated, has comfortable beds, and is extremely clean and well equipped. You won’t be disappointed. Check with the host before packing picnic/beach equipment, games or other extras, because the house most likely has everything you’ll need. We will definitely stay again!

This place worked great as a home base for my son and me for a long weekend exploring the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. We made a number of trips to areas we were interested in during the day. We either prepared our meals at the cottage or went to one of the local restaurants to eat - lots of options close by.

It was a great weekend getaway with the girls with a gorgeous view. Definitely recommend!

What an outstanding spot to enjoy the beauty of Saugatuck/Douglas! This charming condo, right on the river, offers a beautiful deck where you can watch the boats sail by and see some of the fun and music across the river, but still have your own private and quiet space. It's conveniently located next to the ferry, which runs every 15 minutes, making it easy to explore both sides of the river. The condo is fully equipped and also includes access to all the amenities and services of the adjacent Beachway Resort hotel. We actually worked remotely from the condo each day and then headed out for the day - wifi and seating was perfect for working remote, though perhaps only 1 zoom call at a time unless you can take one from the bedroom. The resort staff were excellent, but Kim's welcoming, proactive and responsive communication made us feel safe and right at home. We highly recommend this rental to anyone and look forward to returning soon!

Bob is a great host! This was our 3rd year staying at the Book Mark, we will be back next year for our annual fall get away!! The coffee & smoothies are fabulous, the baristas are so nice and helpful, the 10% discount on items in the bookstore is a great benefit and we try to take advantage of it each time we stay! The best place we’ve ever stayed at!! Thanks Bob & staff!!

A lovely, comfortable place to stay! Exactly as described and very clean. Very safe building with easy access to the condo. The elevator was great! Comfortable furniture and bedding. We’ll be back!

Lisa was a terrific host, she gave us excellent directions on how to get into the unit. She was very quick to get back with us on any questions we had. The location of this property is perfect for exploring the downtown shops and restaurants.

Condo was perfect for our family of 4. Location was amazing short walking distance of several great restaurants and right on a great bike path that you could ride endlessly. The pool was added bonus for 2 kids and highly recommend boat rental place in Fruitport!

We had an amazing stay here over New Year’s Eve! It was the perfect location and we felt right at home! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. All of the appliances as well as the washer and dryer were clean and the extra blankets and linens were great to have on extra cold nights! We are local to the area and wanted to stay close to downtown. This is definitely a condo we will rent again in the future. We did have a few questions during our stay and they were really quick at responding and very friendly. The condo overall felt very much like home and had lots of extra comforts such as pillows, blankets, board games etc and didn’t at all feel like a bare bones kind of Air B &B. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us for a few nights!
