Beachfront holiday rental in Mount Maunganui

How do you give a review you don’t want to give? Why?! Because if I write how spectacular Wendy’s place is, it’ll make it harder to book our return - Oh Yes! We’ll be back! The situation and setup was just bang on perfect for us and Wendy was super easy to deal with. Worth all of the 5-stars 👌😎

The property suited our needs perfectly. It was spacious, immaculately presented, with all needs catered for. Access was easy, with beaches and restaurants nearby.

It's always a pleasure to stay at Cj's place. The fact that I always try to book here while working in the area with my little dog Charlie, just shows how much we love it. Nothing has changed and we will be back soon! 🐶😃👍

We had a wonderful 10 days in this cosy cottage in The Mount. Entry and exit were extremely easy and Antony was very helpful letting us enter a few hours earlier than the stated time. The cottage was very clean and well equipped, we were able to cook several meals including a BBQ. The location was amazing, it took 5 minutes to walk to the nearest beach and then 20 minutes along the boardwalk to get down to the main beach at the base of the Mount. The beaches are lovely, so clean with easy swimming conditions and plenty of surfing if wanted. There are lots of good restaurant choices all within easy walking distance. We ventured out and did some waterfall hikes and a visit to Rotorua to the thermal pools. Antony was super easy to communicate with and helped make our vacation very relaxing and enjoyable.

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our daughter’s first birthday. The place was perfect for our little family of four & our kids loved the friendly pets that visited every now & then. Loved that the town, shops & beach were all super close. The place itself was cosy & clean, we really felt like at home. Awesome hosts & an even better airbnb. 5 stars all round 🙂

Absolutely loved out stay, best location, great place and even better we could take our pet. I loved how open it felt for a place of this size. My partner and 2 year old had plenty of space to stretch out. we will definitely be going back again

A fabulous little sanctuary so close to the beach. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite what we hoped, but that didn’t really matter as the place was so comfortable with great sofas a large Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. The fully fenced garden made it a dream for our little fur baby, who loved zooming around the grass. The kitchen is well stocked with good quality pans and crockery and the plumbed fridge freezer with ice maker was great for G&T time! Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Loved this little spot. The home was a well maintained Bach with thoughtful design of furnishings and accessories. Very clean and tidy. Great linen, comfy beds. Stephanie was quick to answer any communications prior. Despite disappointing weather, meaning we couldn’t be out on the water or taking walks nearby, it was a cozy cottage to be settled in for the weekend for relaxation.

Colleen was an excellent host. This place is beautiful and central to all the places we needed to go to on our short trip in New Zealand. My kids enjoyed the pool the most. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Tauranga.

We had a great few days at The Mount. Apartment is lovely and very close to the beach, shops, cafes etc so we mostly walked everywhere .

We had a fabulous time thank you for having us Barry. The apartment is in a great location and the kitchen is well catered for with appliances and provisions for self catering. Having stayed at the Mount for many years this year would have to be the highlight, great weather, great location and the pool was an absolute treasure especially for my husband who is English and isn’t particularly fond of the beach. I would recommend this as a location for people who are wanting a holiday at the beach but if it is windy or a bit cold can enjoy a swim in the pool. Regards Jackie

The home is spacious and beautifully presented. The weather was wet during our whole stay so it was lovely to have such a good sized space with TV options etc. The communication from the vendor was excellent and the location was great also.

Stayed here for two nights & it had everything you needed😍 such a stunning home we loved everything about it. Especially waking up to a beautiful view right across🥰 Everything was clean & spotless which I loved🙌. Kids also loved the pool! Definitely book again if we ever come back❤️ Thank you to our Host Tova replied to us quickly when we needed help with anything.

Lovely stay, clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Our fur baby was also welcome which we appreciated a lot! You’re right near private access to the beautiful papamoa beach. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us :)

Honestly this is exactly how I want an Airbnb to be, clean, simple, organised and with everything you need! I felt super at home here and how close it is to the beach is perfect, would definitely come back to stay for longer. Only issue is I could hear the home next door easily but it’s not the biggest deal ☺️

Helen, you are a great host. 5 Star. An absolutely amazing stay! The house is perfectly located right on the beach, with easy access to cafes, grocery stores, and more. Everything you need is provided, so all you have to bring is your clothes. The rooms are incredibly spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay here. Peaceful but so entertaining for the children right on the park and across the road from the beach . A really lovely family holiday and so well equipped.

Was perfect for our stay visiting family in the area. Fantastic location, walking distance to supermarket and cafe, and close to the Mount. Plenty of space, clean and tidy and the communication from Jessica was fab! Would definitely recommend! 😊

Had an amazing stay. The spaces in the house were exactly what we needed for our stay. The house was beautifully presented in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The beach as so close and accessible with beautiful views from the lounge. Amy made our stay hassle free with great communication and support. I would definitely come back to stay again with my family.

Great spot to relax for two nights after our wedding. The couch was so soft and comfy to watch tv and chill! The views and open lounge and kitchen on the top floor was really nice. We loved it! Thank you.
