Holiday houses in Mount Barker

This is THE place to stay. My partner and I have stayed in airbnbs all around the world, this is our favourite. Do yourself a favour and book this stay, we certainly will again.

Clean and lovely apartment, just about 10mins drive to Wanaka town centre.

I have a great experience for the accommodation. a room and a bathroom are clean, comfortable and cozy. Also, we have a small talk, and the host provides delicious juice. If I have a chance to visit Wanaka, I will stay here again!

High-end lovely home with Hot tub and lock-up garage. Tastefully presented, neat and tidy. We were a family of 4 adults, this home was perfect, well located warm and cozy. we would stay here again in future if available. Recommend this property to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the heart of Wanaka.

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

this is a perfect place to stay if you want to visit wanaka and queenstown areas! it has all the amenities you need, and the hot pool was a plus. The hosts were also quick and polite in communication

This stay was truly unique! Being so high up above the city was absolutely incredible. It was very private and the place offers so many cute touches (loft area, tub outside). You will not find a better dinner spot than this 👏🏼👏🏼

A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a good shower. Having access to a washer and dryer was so helpful. I highly recommend the homemade, delivered-to-your-door breakfast—fantastic, fresh, and delicious. Don’t miss out on the wood-fired hot tub experience either; soaking under the night sky in the peace and quiet of their property was truly special. The hosts were friendly and responsive, as were their cuddle-seeking golden retrievers. Cromwell has more to offer than you might expect, from wineries to stone fruit stands. The stay was also very modestly priced, especially for what you get. Felt grateful to have been there.

Phenomenal views of the lake. Perfect location to relax while in town for a wedding.
