Holiday houses in Marmara Region

Cem (a very talented musician) and his family (somehow all of them seem to be artists of some kind and their art is everywhere in, on, and around this building) are super kind and welcoming, and they are preserving this architectural gem of a building form the 1960ties against all odds and without government support! Staying at this historic building with lots of original features, helps them to do so and surely will make you part of an ever growing group of people who love this place where you feel like time travelling and being at a cosy home away from home. The location is fantastic, stores and restaurants are to be found just around the corner, as well as taxi stands and bus stations. It's only a few steps to the wonderful Fehnerbace park and marina and you can walk, run, or dance along the beautiful green shorelines all the way to Moda park to the right or via Caddebostan to Suadiye and all the way to Bostanci (there you can ride on an old school flying chain chair carrousel).

Located in the heart of Galata, a walk away from the tower and very close to some great local cuisine, we could not have asked for much more. The host Eyup was responsive with requests and proactive with recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul wanting an authentic experience and a good sleep at night!

We had a great time. The place is as described in the photos, spotlessly clean and has everything you might need. Ms. Sema made all kinds of explanations and was interested enough without having to ask questions. We thank him very much.

I can honestly say this was the most hospitable, friendly and helpful team I’ve ever stayed with. I was blown away by the service. The room was clean, looks just like the pictures and they had folks come in to clean every three days. I completely trusted the cleaning staff in my room alone with my laptop and valuables while I was away. The wifi was solid which was important for me as a digital nomad. The location is about a 5 minute walk from Taksim about 10 minutes to Galata. Close to all my favorite neighborhoods and side streets. I don’t have enough good things to say about the location, people and area. This will be my go-to lodging when I return to Istanbul.

Our stay was great! The house is quite big and spacious, everything was spotless. There was nothing missing in terms of comfort, every detail was considered. The pool was also very pleasant, the fact that it was heated was perfect. Definitely a place we want to come back to.

first of all, thank you to Mr. Ertugrul, he welcomed us and introduced us to the house. He is extremely friendly and warm. We were very satisfied with the family, we had a very nice time. I would definitely recommend it, both a very suitable place in terms of privacy and everything is very well thought out. If you prefer, if you prefer, you will love it if you bring old food for the beautiful cats there.:)
