Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Makry Gialos

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house has literally everything you need. The view from the balcony is stunning and the silence around the house really let us unwind. The city, the beach, a supermarket, everything is really close, if you have a car. Also Massimo and Despina are the nicest people. I would recommend this Airbnb to everyone!

A lovely week spent at the villa for our family holiday. The villa is a short drive from Milatos and would highly recommend the taverna No Name. A car is essential as nowhere is walkable, especially in the heat. Crete is a large island, so we were confined to the east of the island to explore. We visited Elounda, Plaka beach for snorkelling and Spinalonga, as well as the water park. The villa is comfortable, set on 3 floors. The outside space is fantastic and grounds kept beautifully. Audrey and her team were very responsive to our queries and very attentive. They were also able to assist us with car hire. Would recommend.

The Rustic Nook was the perfect place for us on our last 4 days on Crete. It was close to Agios Nikolaos where we spent several of those days exploring and enjoying the food. We went on a few of the many hiking trails in the area. Limnes itself was charming. A local taverna, Christinis, was a highlight with the friendly staff and great food. Amanda’s place was so comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated, and well equipped. Amanda was always quick to respond. We could not have asked for a better place.

A gem and a beautiful retreat in southern Crete. The villa has everything your heart desires, a beautiful view, pool and a modern kitchen that makes every heart of a hobby cook beat faster. I will miss the morning and evening bath in the pool with the view. Since it has almost no light pollution, you can see a starry sky and the Milky Way with the naked eye. Secluded beaches are easily accessible by car within 30 minutes, so a car is highly recommended. Doesn't have to be an SUV. Sam is available at any time and communicates very quickly. Furthermore, he or Lefteris are always available with tips and advice. Sam and Anel are more than super hosts and I can recommend their villa villa 200%.

We enjoyed our stay at the arch house so so much. If you looking for an airbnb in an quiter area with gorgeous landscape, beaches and a wonderful mediterranean sea , you will love it there. Harry was very kind and helpful. He gave us a warm welcome and nice tips for exploring the east of Crete. The small village Zakros has everything for daily needs and offers you to join cretan life. We and our little son loved it there. End of September is a perfect time to spend some relaxing days there! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Mapia's home, everything was what we were expecting with the added bonus of meeting Mapia's parents and other members of extended family. They were all available if we had any problems (we didn't) but not intruding at all. George another family member, introduced himself and we could go to him if we had any questions. Exceptional location, right in a small bay with lots of restaurants all around. Even in November, one or two were still open. Kitchen really equipped with everything you need; so also ideal for self-catering. Directly diagonally opposite there is a small mini-market that is open every day. Has balconies on both sides and a large sun terrace upstairs on the roof. Check-in and communication with Popi easy. I will definitely come back.

The apartment is well located with a fantastic view of gardens and a small bay. We were very warmly welcomed by Alexandra and immediately given plenty of fruit from her garden. Two beaches are within walking distance. The apartment offers a well-equipped kitchen and parking is also available. Thank you Alexandra for having us and also for the farewell gifts.

A breathtaking view, perfect tranquility, a very responsive and warm host, very close to the very pretty towns of Elounda and Agios Nicolaos, an ideal environment for walking or running in the mountains… our only regret is having to leave this dream place.

Very beautiful, large traditional Greek house. And an extraordinary garden with breathtaking views. With small hammock rest areas, sun loungers. Beautiful outdoor dining area. And a very warm and attentive family welcome.

Brand new and clean apartment, matches the description and photographs. Inside there is practically everything you need for your stay (clean towels, paper, scotch, the "fundamentals" in the kitchen such as oil, salt, coffee, etc.). Air conditioners and mosquito nets in all rooms! The apartments are located right in the center of Ierapetra, but in a quiet and quiet street (there are no shops or clubs). Great location for getting around. Great communication with the host, recommended!

I can only say, if you want a warm welcome and comfort and quiet in the middle of the busy activity of Chersonissou… this is the place. I read a review about the bathroom.. yes, if you are expecting a large hotel bathroom it is small but it is Greece on an Island… everything in the space was perfect. We loved every thing and his parents were like second family and made us feel so welcomed. I can not say enough❤️

Four of us sharing Corfos View, It was an absolutely beautiful apartment and surpassed all descriptions. Breathtaking views of Mirabello Bay. Beds were so comfortable, bathroom was quirky. We had a slight problem with WIFI, but Manos dealt with it quickly. super efficient contact and a great host. Just one thing to mention.....maybe a bigger kettle as the small one only had enough water for 2 hot drinks and there were four adults sharing...other than that, 100% recommended.

We would really recommend Izabela's home for a lot of reasons. We arrived, Izabela greeted us with a smile and kindness. During the stay she was able to be discreet in order to give us privacy but just as present when we needed it. I understand all the comments about Izabela, she is the best host in any country we have had. A real plus for the accommodation which is really very clean, towels, linens… smell very good! The apartment is located not far from the main avenues (5 min walk) but is located in an isolated and quiet place which is very good. Since there were no guests, we were able to stay a little later in the day. Thanks again Izabela!

Beautiful place! It looks even nicer in real life than in the photos! Great location, easy to walk to stores and restaurants. Diana was very friendly and helpful. In general I would go back with no hesitation!

The house is in a very good location (300m from the beach), easily accessible and has a great view. It's fully equipped and clean. George(host) from the beginning was informative with accurate instructions and polite. I highly recommend it as a choice for anyone who wants to visit the area of Elounda, and relax on their holidays.

We had Dimitris as our host and let me say, everything was perfect. We were delayed getting in by a day and he was always very responsive when we communicated our later check-in needs. When we finally arrived a day later he was quick to get us in our place but not before grabbing us a couple beers and a bottle of wine to start our 10 year anniversary trip. He also gave us excellent recommendations of local restaurants to start the trip off right. The place is exactly as described and then some. It is in the heart of the night life and all the beaches, but the location still quiet and peaceful. When enjoying the rooftop patio and hot tub, you would swear you were off in a secluded location. When inside the suite with the doors closed, you couldn’t even hear peep from anyone walking around on the beach front strip. Dimitris was always quick with answers to our questions and recommendations throughout our stay. Without a doubt we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay, Galini was more than welcoming. The apartment was even bigger then expected and there was no speck of dust to be seen! Even though our stay was in November, so it was off season, probably half of the restaurants, shops and mini markets were still open. You can reach some lovely beaches by car in around 5 min. Sitia is the closest big city and 20 min by car. We would definitely stay there again!

Great views from the balcony very clean and central. A 2 minute walk from the airbnb to the beach. So cute and quaint!

Amazing place. Very private and quiet. Location is also great, lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops to walk to. If I have the chance will definitely come back. Recommend it!

The apartment is top renovated, perfectly located just next to the sea, with a perfect view over the sea and harbor. Perfect beach for swimming in the morning, or whenever required. Good style decoration, that fits the apartment very well. Well equipped kitchen, also with all the things required for cooking already there, salt, pepper, oil,… The best bed mattresses we have tried, which can sometime be a challenge when sleeping out. Very helpful host that received us, even though we arrived 0:30 in the night. This is not our last stay there.

The host are super nice, always respond to app and ask if all is well (She had even baked brownies for us). In addition, the apartment is quite spacious and every room has air conditioning. The balconies are very nice to start the day with a beautiful view. The bathroom is also great, with a rain shower and even a washing machine. In addition, everything was clean and well arranged.
