Monthly Rentals in Mackinac Island

The loft was spotless! It is in such a beautiful and peaceful setting. The hosts went out of the way to make sure we had everything we needed. Things like coffee, hand warmers and kleenex are such nice touches and saved us a couple trips to the store. We thought it was a great trip and would for sure stay there again!

I’ll start off this review by saying this is now the fourth time we have stayed here, so I think that should speak for itself! It has become a traditional cozy winter getaway after the busy holiday season for us. Warm, clean, fully functional, and in a great location just across the bridge for easy trips during the day. We go there for winter birding, but I’m sure anyone who loves winter and winter sports would love the area. The kitchenette is simple but equipped with everything you need to make some simple meals. The bathroom is cozy but functional, with a nice-sized stall shower. Of course, it’s impossible not to enjoy all the live plants around you! It even has a great collection of old vinyl! One of the first things we love to do is find some of our favorite records, whether they be classical, Christian hymns, or, like last time, putting on James Taylor, “How Sweet It Is to Be Loved by You,” and dancing together! We truly enjoyed our little getaway at Lolas Retreat in a quiet lakeview setting. The home was clean and had all the comforts and amenities of home. We will be back again when we need another quiet getaway.

I was on a work trip, this was the perfect place for me. I needed a table or a desk to work off of and they found one from another room to accommodate me. Teri, was very pleasant and friendly, she was helpful. And gave me directions to what ever I needed. I’ll definitely be staying there again when I’m working in the area.
