House is absolutely beautiful & plenty of room. There were 9 of us and it never felt crowded. Waking up and looking right out at Lake Superior was so calming and peaceful. If we had any questions Jason responded right away. We definitely would book here again!!

We enjoyed staying at Marc’s property, it was just what we were looking for. Clean and cozy for our group! Good times and good views on the river. Thanks Marc!

Colette was an amazing host, she even surprised me with a birthday treat! The house is even nicer than the pictures, and the outside areas, decks etc.. while not so useful in negative temps, were awesome and you can tell there’s plenty of outdoor space as well as inside, in the more temperate months. She and her husband were great and so helpful. The house has great supplies, anything you need to feel at home. The sunroom is absolutely a stunning place to sit! Enjoyed watching the snow, sun and the deer wander through. Definite do-over.

Lorie's place was absolutely perfect for our winter getaway. With the negative temps outside, it was still comfortable inside, with plenty of blankets to cuddle up in. The neighborhood was a beautiful winter wonderland to walk my dog around in, and quiet. We even had some deer walking around out back! We had fun walking the public access to the beach, but didn't walk on the beach due to it being covered in snow so you can't tell what is ice and what is sand. I imagine this would be a major plus in the summer though. Overall, would highly recommend for all seasons of the year.

Nick was extremely helpful with directions. Very accommodating! We were not expecting the amount of snow (first time that far north!) The snow added to the peacefulness. It was worth our 6.5 hour drive!! Beautiful!

A cozy, comfortable, and well-stocked home. Not fancy but welcoming. However, the view is the selling point. Once you see it you won’t care that the house has colanders and yoga mats and q-tips (and practically anything else you might need) available. The view is amazing, and changes every hour of every day. You won’t want to go and “do stuff” and miss a moment! Sleeping is wonderful; there is quiet except for the lapping of the waves against the beach. Our hosts were quick to respond to messages, so we felt well supported. Only one drawback (or plus, depending on how you view it) — the house is miles from “civilization” and even a simple errand requires a long time investment. Our family convened from New York, Illinois, and Indiana and it was a nice place to relax and spend time together away from it all.

Such a beautiful place to stay had a lot of room and had everything we needed amazing views the host was great as well will definitely stay again

This location and house are amazing. The views from the crowsnest were a bonus. This is the place to be if one is fortunate enough to stay there when northern lights would be visible (the ever-present clouds over Canada prevented us from being so lucky). Monitoring an aurora site and marine traffic app is a must. I am so thankful that the steepness of the stairs was clear so that I was able to block them (pizza boxes from Superior Pizza came in handy) so that my curious pup could not try to go up - he would have definately gotten hurt trying to do so because of his size and how his pads would slide on the painted wood. Also, because we travel with our dog we routinely bring our own sheets, blankets and pillows to use on top of those provided at rentals I have to do something with all decorative pillows - this place has plenty. The ledges in the bedroom closets are a brilliant solution to living out of a suitcase! Loved this place
