Carl’s place is in the perfect location if visiting Queenstown. It’s a quick car or bus ride to town, yet private enough that would feel at peace when in the home. The views from the kitchen and dining area are remarkable. Carl was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend!

A great place to gather for a family reunion. The house had everything we needed and the facilities are perfect for a large group. Decor a wee bit tired but all very clean and comfortable. The views are incredible!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return

Sarah was everything you could want out of a host. She was able to work with us on very short notice, fantastic at communicating, and took us in as her own. If you’re looking at staying in the Cardrona/Wanaka area I couldn’t recommend both Sarah and her farmhouse any higher.

Sarah and Jon’s place was absolutely fabulous! If anything, it was better than described. The home is secluded yet a short drive to Queenstown. The standout feature is the unobstructed view of the lake through floor to ceiling glass doors that can open to bring in nature. The outdoor yard is HUGE! It looks to be nearly an acre. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed the trampoline and playground in the yard. Even the chickens have their own forest to reside in. We had fresh eggs for breakfast and picked fresh strawberries from the yard. The house is very modern and clean and Sarah and Jon were very thoughtful and provided some essentials in the fridge/cupboard for breakfast upon arrival. Within a short walk, there is a large playground complete with free zip line for kids that my 3 children loved. You can even view it from your living room. Wonderful hikes are a short walk or drive away. I would not hesitate to ever stay here again. Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay.

A great location to local restaurants and shops and very peaceful. Useful additional amenities that come from staying in a lovely home- beach courtyard and garden. Perfect for what we needed and felt like a cosy home.

Great place for families. Super clean and easy to navigate. Loved the two bathrooms and the washing machine in the garage. Cosy living room. Spa in the backyard was beautiful. Not exactly a short walk into town however, we did not try it due to rain and kids. Wanaka is great for biking and coffee!

Second time holidaying here. We sooo love the place. Great home. Love the outside with swimming pool, spa and playground. Also loved the garage with games etc. The house is beautifully decorated and just a pleasure to stay in. Great location 5 minutes to walk ways, biking trails and township. Great communication with Candice.

Great location with tracks to the river and mount iron nearby. The community pool and gym are a great facility to have access to as well. House was very clean also

Great home to stay in, very warm with the fireplaces going. Nice and spacious, very relaxing. very little outside noise. Unfortunately we were only there at night as due to event we were attending, but loved the place ! would definitely stay again, and recommend !

Lovely place to stay for the night!

Awesome place that literally has everything. Highlights were the sauna, hot spa, pool table and fireplace after snowboarding each day. Super close to The Remarkables and Coronet plus we drove an hour up to Corona and drive was easy. Highly recommended!

We had a great time staying at Sally's Whare Iti. She was really friendly and helpful, and the house has everything you need. Being a 10-minute drive into town was handy. It'll be front of mind for any future trips to Wanaka!

Great place, very cozy and quiet loft! Natasha warned us that their living room is right downstairs and it can be a little bit noisy, but we never heard any. 10 minutes drive from the center of Queenstown and 15 to Arrowtown but if you want to walk there is also a tavern and brewery not far from the house. Overall it was a great experience, I definitely recommend!

Very quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees. The apartment was new and it was beautiful, modern and exceptionally clean. The welcoming basket was a nice touch along with milk and tea and coffee. The bed was the comfiest I have ever slept on along with amazing pillow. I have never slept so well. The bathrooms again were very modern with lovely smelling toiletries. Outside there were table and chairs, BBQ and with a wood burning hot tub if required ( I didn't have time but if i was staying for a longer period i would certainly have tried it out) Siobhan was so lovely and welcoming and so helpful suggesting the best restaurants and walks in the area. A plus for the apartment was that you had lovely walks from the door and you could also walk to Bob's Cove which is very picturesque. I can't recommend this apartment enough if you are looking for a beautiful, quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown itself.

Gorgeous views! Loved waking up here every morning. Place is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need! The #1 bus passes about a 7 min walk from the accommodation and goes right into town for only $2! Was perfect to get us quickly into town. There are a few local restaurants // grocer if you don’t feel like going all the way which we took advantage of our first night. Private patio views of the lake which the host let us use undisturbed which made for a really special stay here. Thanks so much!

This was my first experience with air bnb. For a first time experience this was absolutely perfect. So comfy and roomy and was great to come back to from a busy day and relax. The shower pressure was amazing, and amazing sunlight and view coming in. I would definitely come back again, and would definitely recommend this if you’re new to travelling like me, or just for a small holiday with your partner, all for a good price.

Great location in Cardrona for those skiing. Just down the road a bit from the Cardrona Inn and General Store. Super well-appointed and roomy kitchen - it was so nice to have good appliances when cooking meals. Laundry room in the back of the garage was a bonus - easy laundry situation and storage for skis.
