Monthly Rentals in Leslie Vale

We have stayed at a lot of airbnbs around the world and this is one of my favourites. Tanya is a lovely host who maintains the Vanilla pod and its surrounds superbly. The pod is roomy and filled with light from the extensive windows & bifold doors, the decorations are lovely & the facilities for making breakfast/snacks is great. The shower is big with great water pressure. The toilet is a compost toilet but this is a gold standard of a compost toilet - it is so clean with no smell, both my husband & I went away thinking we would happily have one of these in our home. The airbnb pictures do not do justice to the view, I was torn between looking at the view and watching the Pademelons hopping around the garden - we slept with the blinds up and woke up to the most stunning sunrise. The nearby town of Kingston is great with everything you could need & a lovely beachfront. Thanks for a great stay!

The place is fantastic and in such a peaceful location. The internal spaces are very warm, intimate, and inviting. That large mirror in the living area is hot. The donkey shed was a great place to sit in and hang out looking at the view and taking in the surroundings. Not sure what happened about breakfast that is mentioned in the listing? A minor issue to a lovely stay.

This property was ideally located, equidistant between Hobart, Mount Wellington, and the beautiful Huon Valley. The kitchen had all you need to make any meals. Very spacious and better than the photos. The office space was excellent for working. We didn't need to speak to our hosts because everything went well! The herb garden was a very nice addition. We would recommend it to anyone who wants peaceful accommodation between the main attractions in the area.
