We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jasneet’s place- “The Ghar” The property was exactly as described - cozy, clean, and feels like home. The location was perfect for exploring Bhimtal & Nainital. Jasneet was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The property is located on a hill top, with 360 degree view. You have to trek a little to reach there, but once you are there it is mesmerizing. You get a clear view of snow cladded mountains from a hill top, here you can have lunch, have a bonfire or just sit idle watching the scenery. The host, Tarun, is extraordinarily helpful and proactive. The food is great and freshly prepared with local ingredients wherever feasible. 5 star for everything. Don't miss this.

I really loved everybit of the stay. The room and the property was as described. The host and the caretaker were super nice. Both took great care. Since I was traveling by myself, I was afraid of how the property would be. Howeverz the space was super safe, accessible and lovely to be in. I would love to visit again.

How do I describe Meenakshi aunty and her beautifully organised home? I have been wondering the same since I said my goodbyes to her with a promise to return to this very charming cottage. I was here for a month this time. The sight of the sunrise from the cottage will mesmerise any city dweller. An extremely well equipped cottage with nothing lacking. The food served is the local Kumaoni cuisine. It's sumptuous and delicious. Lovingly prepared and generously fed. The host herself is a wonderful person, and I thoroughly enjoyed my long morning walks with her. She is a meaningful listener and has umpteen stories to share. I found a friend in her. It's great to be living amongst people who have a humane touch in everything they do. I feel refreshed and rejuvenated with a sense of newness.
