Holiday rentals with lake access in Kingsbury

Our stay at Carnelian Bay was fantastic. Ryan made us feel right at home with Christmas trees and presents for the kids. His communication was prompt and on point, He answered all of our questions and concerns during our entire stay. The house is beautiful and well kept with an amazing view. It was well stocked with everything we needed for a two week stay during Christmas and New Years. We truly enjoyed the house and Ryan made the stay smooth and enjoyable.

If you’re searching for the perfect cabin getaway, look no further! Brandon’s place was everything we hoped for and more. I stayed here with my fiancé, his parents, his brother, and my parents—7 of us in total—and the space was absolutely perfect, with plenty of room to spare. The highlight is undoubtedly the breathtaking view—being right on the lake made our stay magical. Strolling along the shoreline each day was such a treat. The cabin’s cozy charm, complete with a fireplace and a gorgeous balcony, added to the relaxing atmosphere. Brandon was an incredible host—super helpful, responsive, and a pleasure to communicate with. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. This stay was everything we could have asked for, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Linda’s place was very lovely! Linda was very quick to get back to my family whenever we had a question and she gave us great advice/tips for exploring the area and being safe in the snow! The house was lovely, we especially loved the pool table and the balcony for views. I would love to stay here again! (Hopefully next time we’ll see a bear lol)

We had a great Christmas. The house was very cozy and just across the street from the lake. Peter was very responsive and we asked if the house had a Christmas tree, he mentioned that no but he added one and that was veryyy lovely. We have a great time and definitely recommended.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Homewood, CA! The host was incredibly welcoming, communicative, and flexible, making the entire process seamless and enjoyable. The home was spotless, cozy, and clean, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood was absolutely beautiful—peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery, perfect for relaxation or exploration. We truly felt at home here and would love to return for another visit. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a little wonderful getaway!

Paul’s place was a wonderful cozy home perfect for a weekend getaway. The kitchen is stocked with ample supplies for whipping up a tasty meal. The hot tub is undoubtedly a huge perk of this home and nothing beats the scenery of relaxing in the tub during a light snow with the surrounding trees. Each room has its own thermostat which is helpful if your group is using multiple rooms. The home is very close to the lake, a ski resort, and only 15 min away from Tahoe City where there are many cute shops and restaurants. Overall, I would highly recommend Paul’s place to anyone looking for a retreat to Tahoe

This home was exactly what we we're looking for. Plenty of space for the whole family of 4. The surrounding property was beautifully covered in snow. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen while the kids played and watched TV in the same space. We we're able to sit at the table and eat together then all fit on the huge and comfortable couch to watch movies. We felt very comfortable here.

My family felt very comfortable in Suzanne's condo. There was plenty of room and the amenities were great. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were very comfortable. The best part of the stay was having Suzanne as a host. She was very quick to respond to our questions and gave exact directions to find the condo.

Great place with restaurants within steps. Spacious interior, big bedrooms, nice living room and kitchen. Right across the street from the beach which was perfect! Highly recommend!

The host was great. Took care of the few minor issues we had with a quickness. Would not hesitate to stay again. A++. Highly recommended.

The cabin was clean and had everything we needed including a washer and dryer. We loved the tree view from the living room, the large deck, and the hot tub. The cabin is also close to the lake, restaurants, and pretty close to a supermarket. We loved that the kitchen had everything we needed, and Marci was very responsive to any questions. The decor was fun and definitely different from home. It had a strong cabin vibe. I liked that there were plenty of towels, beach towels, and a couple throw blankets. We were there in the winter, but I saw lots of kayaks and boggie boards available for summer. If it were my place I would remove some furniture and replace the coffee table with an ottoman to make it cozy. It's definitely not a toddler cabin with the metal, wood, and antlers, but it was cute, clean, and convenient. I'd recommend it for a fun family trip!

Great location with short walks to various stores and restaurants. Our destination was Olympic Valley and Kindra's Airbnb was perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this location.

This house is fantastic. It's one of our favorite ever AirBnB's. Comfortable, modern, light-filled, and well equipped. The kitchen is spacious and everything is new and works perfectly. The location is great. It's a very short walk to the lake and to several really good places to eat. The street is quiet. There are beautiful trees all along the street. Parking is easy and close to the front door. The host was friendly, helpful, and responded immediately when I had a dumb question about the electronic door lock. There's a complete set of instructions for everything, in a convenient binder. A lot of thought has gone into making this small house the perfect place to stay. We definitely hope to stay here again.

The place was nearby a lot of stores and walkable distance to the beach also. The view was beautiful!! Andrea’s place felt so cozy and very clean, everything we ever needed was provided to us at the Airbnb! I gladly appreciate it, there’s a driveway for our car also so it made unpacking and packing our car so easy. Definitely would stay there again.

This place was much bigger than we needed but it allowed pets and that was our main criteria so we could have a long weekend as a family. That said, the place was amazing!! Exactly as pictured and no surprises. Everything was clean but more importantly, everything was comfortable....the upstairs bed had me asleep in minutes. With so many places to sleep, we talked about inviting extended family back some time to skiing at Palisades and staying here... it would be PERFECT! Neighbors are also so very friendly and awesome. Caterina was checking in to make sure we were okay and very responsive to me. Money well spent for a much needed get away to the mountains!

You really can't beat this location. Any closer to the lake and you would be on a houseboat. The beach is beautiful, just steps from the front door. It is also just a few minutes from great restaurants and King's Beach. The cabin is cozy and true to the photos. I wish the interior/furniture/kitchen was updated, but the rooms were nice and big and the beds were comfortable. It was awesome to have a sauna with a view of the lake too. The fireplace is nice and helps keep the place warm (tip use the fireplace fan) - we were lucky and it snowed while we were there. We had a question about the heater and someone quickly came over. Very nice and helpful. We will be back. 5/5 recommend!
