Holiday rentals with breakfast in Kimbissa

Great place!! Gayan was super nice and the room was super clean! Also best breakfast we had so far :) The only thing is that the location on Airbnb isn’t the right one, so we were a bit surprised when we were told that.. but other than that I would recommend 1000%!!

Everything was perfect. The host Mali was friendly, accommodating, helpful. He arranged for us a ride from both the airport and a tuk tuk for a trip nearby and even a bus escort. He is even willing to help us with more transfers. He provided us with a great dinner upon request. We were able to keep the room longer the next day. He also gave us advice on nice places all over Sri Lanka. His restaurant was great too. Delicious food. We can only recommend. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We give 100/10. 🤩

The communication was top notch. Pretty amiable host. Very helpful to us. Recommended all the good things for us. And, The location is far from sigiriya lion rock. So it was a bit exhausting. Overall a Good Experience.

Theese apartments are really comfortable and beautiful. The special location, the rooms and the bathrooms are nice and perfect. And the pool is amazing. And I would like to gratefully thank to Isanka and his beautiful family too welcomed us for her endless kindness and hospitality. They did everything to make us feel as good as possible. They made us delicious Srí Lankan breakfasts every morning, and a super tasty dinner with Kottu, noodle, rice, curry, papadums, sauce, etc... Mmmmm. :) And the tuktuk! They took us everywhere we asked. Thank you very much for treating us with such a care like this. 🙏 <3

We had a fantastic stay at tharus place. The rooms were really nice. The whole area was great for relaxing. They went out of their way to serve an amazing breakfast. And dinner also was really delicious. Also they are building a pool, which will really make it a bang for your buck

Janaka , his wife and the little boys are a very welcoming family that hosted us beautifully for 2 days. We loved the food that Nisha cooked for us , it was wholesome and gave us a very authentic taste of Sri Lankan cuisine. The rooms are very close to the samba caves. For our trek to sigiriya lion rock - janaka came to drop us in his tuc tuk at 4am in order to climb it with no sun. Janaka arranged for us a safari ride as well as took us around in tuk tuk in reasonable rates. All in all it was a wonderful stay for my husband and I , and we loved how warm and caring janaka and his wife were!!! Highly recommend this place !

We had an amazing time at Lal‘s homestay! The hospitality of Lal and his family is absolutely great! You can have delicious homemade Sri Lankan Dinner -also the Kids loved it!! We enjoy your stay in with Bandulas really friendly guy place is clean he is also renting bicycle for 300 rupees today place is quiet he also have one room with air conditioning $7 extra

My stay at Cultraverse was everything that it promised and more. Chamila was a warm an kind host, ensuring that I had everything that I needed, always there with a smile, and generous cups of strong tea. The place is peaceful, the accomodation, clean and cozy. Also visited nearby beautiful paddy fields, and caught a sunset by the lake.

Amila's family took very care of us, dîners and breakfast were amazing, good quantitiy and sri lankese stylish food. Very helpful for booking tuk tuk and pick us at the railway station. We rent the family scooter for 2 days to visit nearby, it was very peaceful and beautiful. the place was cosy and nice - we almost saw éléphants in the garden. What a wonderful way to discover this country and the kindness of the locals.

Subadra was a perfect host,we booked a homestay and got a home instead. The place was ozzing with love and kindness. She went beyond her way to address our concerns and gave a personal touch to everything she offered. Jagath is one of a kind. He was such a welcoming host and always had a good balance between being helpful and supportive without intruding your own space and plans. If you are interested he can explain a many things about this part of Sri Lanka. He has huge knowledge about history, traditions, food, plants and also current issues. Also the whole estate reflects his interests with a beautiful garden, historic artefacts and an excellent cuisine, we are still missing. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

A very, very special place! Maulie and co made us feel so at home at her place in the jungle. The food was exceptional and everyone who worked there was lovely. They helped us organise tuktuks for day trips and we took the canoe out one morning too!

The stay in the cottage was wonderful, the place is close to the main road but it is very quiet and peacefull. The house was clean, it looked just like in the photos, the swimming pool is a great addition, the terrace of the house is magical, you can relax there and be surrounded by trees and plants, the location of the house is well-thought-out and guarantees privacy. Amith is a great host, he is very helpful and friendly, the breakfasts were delicious.

Our stay at Thilina's and her family's was absolutely fabulous. We started our journey roaming with this first stop in Sigiriya. Thilina took care of us so well, he pampered us, and was very responsive (we had a problem arriving at the airport and he took us under his wing to help us) He totally organized our short stay at his place, with no obligation to do anything. His proposals were so enticing that we did everything: the safari near his house, the visit of the traditional village (cart, typical catamaran, traditional cuisine (class and AMAZING tasting), visit to the temple of Dambulla where he accompanied us as a guide (thank you for learning about culture and religion), hiking to see the rock of the lion in the morning. Thanks to him we were able to take the famous train from Kandy to Ella, where he made himself available again to take us to Kandy (2h drive!) THANK YOU ♥️
