Absolutely stunning apartment and view! Eleni was so kind. Next to everything, in a beautifu area with a lovely taverna in front too. Definitely book!

Exceptionally clean and modern flat in the Old Town of Heraklion. Parking was a dedicated space in the basement and easy to use. The instructions were excellent, we arrived at about midnight and had no problem checking in, the tsikoudia and sesame sticks were very welcome! The wraparound balcony was a bonus, we really did have part views over the harbour although the airport at the other end of town is apparent, with the efficient air conditioning and windows closed, there was no noise at night. We asked for local restaurant recommendations, which we booked and enjoyed, as well as those just around the corner in the little square. Everything in the old town was walkable and it was easy to drive out to explore more of the beautiful island and extraordinary history.

How to start. During our short 3 day stay, we did feel immediately welcome. Artemis and her Husband are the perfect hosts. So kind and welcoming, you do not want to leave anymore. There was a bottle of white wine and some home backed cake for in our room. Our flat, as well as the other rooms to rent, face the beautiful see. You could just sit on the balcony for hours and look out in silence. So calming and relaxing. The road behind the property is not disturbing as you’re not facing it and as the sound of the beautiful sound of the sea is dominating. We stayed there at the end of October and enjoyed that the region is not busy anymore. You can walk along the empty beaches close by. This was our best stay on Crete so far. Thank you so much. You’re doing an amazing job and we feel, that you do it with heart and soul. ❤️❤️❤️

We spent a week in George's apartment with a toddler and had a great time. We read about the sea view and ocean sounds in the reviews before, but our expectations were surpassed. Just wonderful! The beach bar in the building made the beach vacation perfect for us.

We had a great stay! The appartment is small, but has everything you need. We received great recommendations from Maria and loved the pastries from Costa's bakery! Some restaurants, a supermarket and the beach are in walking distance. If you have a rental, it's easy to find a parkingspot close to the appartment.

Beautiful views, quiet, everything within walking distance, decorated with attention to detail. Very sweet hosts: nice honey, jam, cheese, butter and eggs, pomegranate, coffee, tea, drink, good tips for resto, bar, beach,...Fantastic terrace and separate patio at entrance. Recommended!

This place was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed and completely at home. The garden is stunning—a perfect spot to enjoy a morning coffee while taking in the beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. It was the ideal start to each day. The apartment is decorated with so much care, including handmade elements by Takis that bring the beauty of nature inside. Also notable is the well equipped kitchen, making cooking very easy. The surroundings offer so much to explore that we wished we could have stayed longer! Tina also gave us fantastic tips for excursions, which made our trip even more memorable. Thank you, Tina, for an amazing stay—we hope to return someday!

Yorgo's place has very good location: is close 5-7 min to the beach, very close to Backarei, several supermarket, good taverna. This is not directly in Retimno, but very well accessible in 10 minutes by bus or 2 km with a nice walk along the promenade along the beach promenade with many restaurants. The apartment itself is spacious and well equipped(larger fridge, stove, dishwashing and washing machine,mosquito net in every window, air conditioning). This includes a balcony where you could sit in the evening and a small pool with lots of water toys. Yourgos and his daughter are also very nice people. Yourgos always responds quickly, gives good tips and even ended up giving us traditional Greek sweets. Thank you. We can recommend Yougos Appartament.

When we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted by Katerinas father who showed us everything in the apartment and the surrounding with the whirlpool and the garden. This was already a fantastic beginning. In the apartment we were greeted by a homemade frittata and tons of fresh fruit. We had trouble to do eat all of this. The provided ground coffee and all the other things in the fridge including a bottle of wine and Raki was making us smile and feel like at home. Even in the washing machine there were some washing pods provided. Wow! We had a really good time and we got a lot of good support from Katerina and her family (super sweet). We liked that we were allowed to separate the waste for recycling, we do the same at home and this is needed everywhere in the world. The apartment was more than spacious enough for us two and the outside sitting possibilities were used a lot for our breakfasts.

We enjoyed our time at Maria's apartment. It's a two-floor house with two apartments on each floor. Each apartment had a separate entry, so we saw people living upstairs. No doubt, the main treasure of this place - the view from the terrace. We spent long evenings sitting on the terrace watching the sunset. The apartment itself had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

The place was all it said it was chistos brother was our host and he was exceptionally helpful we were given free coffee and water every day and any problems we had were soon rectified. One downside is that you have to walk downhill into town which means an uphill walk home im 73 and i managed would go back again if ever over south of island. Could do with escalator for homeward journey Jack from Southport UK.

For the money we paid, we couldn't ask for more. Heraklion is my home town and finding my way round wasn't going to be an issue, but even if I was an unaware foreigner on his first visit there I wouldn't be troubled whatsoever. George was always available on the phone and helpful. The studio was spotless and functional as quoted in the advert. The immersion heater would heat the water within minutes, while the air-condition was handy. The main advantage of this place though is its location: there is everything you need right at your feet and if you are the pedantic kind of tourist the choice laid out in front of you will put your mind to rest. Within less than half a mile radius you have more bars, cafeterias, restaurants and shops your palate can handle. Only question is... do you know where you are going? I am Greek, so I do. My husband and myself had stayed a week in September 2024 in Chrysa’s apartment. We absolutely recommend it, it was a true five star experience. The apartment is beautiful, well furnished (not only standard IKEA-like funuture) it has absolutely everything in it. It is comfortable, large, bright and in a nice and walkable position for Rethymno (about 15 minutes to the city center and the main beach). Also, it was spotless clean. We really enjoyed the terrace. Chrysa gave us some good hints for restaurants and bars. Also, she was extremely helpful when I unfortunately had some health problems and needed an ambulance. If there were six stars, I would give 6 stars to Chrysa as a host.

Had an amazing stay at this beautiful apartment. Our host was very nice, responsive and was happy to help with any of our questions. The apartment itself was lovely and clean and seconds away from the beach. The private outdoor hot tub and bbq area was very nice to have. I would definitely recommend this place to future holiday goers.

Awesome place - Jacuzzi helps! Bed is nice and comfy, aircon works nicely and cooker and fridge is nice. It’s down the road from town a bus ride away. Toilet and shower is wetroom is nice. You have a great view of beach from the north side balcony and nice moon lit view of from the south side (whilst in the jacuzzi). It’s a good place to get transport links from the city (buses are all over the place). Stelios was very responsive and helpful with recommendations With restaurants and places to find a drink. Deffo would come back 10/10 🇬🇧🇬🇷

We had the pleasure of staying one night in this corner of paradise and it was wonderful. Kostas is super, he has given us all the instructions to enter already from the moment of booking and has always been within reach by phone for any information or assistance, with response times of seconds! In other words, the place is wonderful to unwind and relax surrounded by nature and comfort. Perfect cleanliness, we felt at home and returned regenerated. Next time we'll have more days! We spent our anniversary in this private place, and it was a fantastic experience! Dimitrious was phenomenal-very responsive and provided all the information we needed for a smooth arrival. His helpful tips on restaurants around were fantastics. The place itself was cozy, beautifully-designed, and very clean. It was really nice to be able to enjoy a private heated pool.

The home is just like the photos and the views are unreal. Maria was a wonderful host. However we didn’t realize that the city would be completely closed during the off season (close by restaurants and shops). Maria made arrangements to get us groceries for a couple night stay and we felt very cared for. What a beautiful area! For disabled or elderly guests this may be hard as it has two flights of stairs to get to the apartment/kitchen/bedrooms and two short flights to the roof area. Book it!

Everything was excellent. The nearby hotel that works with this AirBnb was very helpful. It’s good to remember that the second room is more of a nook with two sofas that could be used as beds and that if you want to use the toilet you would have to walk through the other persons room. Great for a family, even better for a couple. The jacuzzi and mural out back were lovely.

Well-equipped apartment in beach. Accessibility of the landlady is great. Highly recommend.
