Without a doubt, this was a really nice place to stay. I truly enJoyed being there. The hosts were extremely kind and considerate, going out of their way on more than one occasion to be sure that everything was copasetic with me. For example, I had a pleasant surprise when they had arranged a lounge chair and a table on the upstairs balcony so that I could enJoy nature while doing my computer work and reading. I really appreciated their going that extra mile, so to speak, to be sure that I was getting the most out of their place. All was in order: the place was clearly arranged with care and concern for the comfort of guests: all the listed amenities from the listing were present and functioning just fine, and, indeed, the photos represented the home as it is, clean and comfortable. Without hesitation I offer Mud Castle my highest recommendation for a rewarding and memorable sojourn in a pleasant part of nearby Thrissur. I would be pleased to stay there again on another occasion.

We really loved the stay here, it was very peaceful and nice. The house was squeaky clean and they were thoughtful to provide a few extra amenities which made our stay with kids easier. The Caretaker was polite and helpful.

A peaceful stay at a pristine place, with homelike amenities, the house was clean and located at a very unique place, with its own small lake. Water sports and cycling are available at the site. The place was absolutely peaceful and good for a family or a group stay away from the bustle of the city. It's not very far from the city and all amenities like malls, restaurants and theaters were within 20 min drive.
