Holiday rentals with breakfast in Havana

Margarita's house is one of the most beautiful homes I've stayed in. The pictures don't actually do it justice. The back yard is very large and lush, full of fruit trees and song birds. The pool was a great place to spend the afternoon. The home has everything you might need. Margarita was very quick to answer any questions that we had. Niurka and Nieve, the sisters who cook breakfast and clean up, are so wonderful. We are gluten free and our daughter is also vegetarian. They provided great breakfasts full of fruit, cheese and eggs any way you want them. They could not, obviously, provide gluten free bread. However, we brought our own pancake mix and they became experts very quickly. We also asked them to prepare us some meals, which were delicious. The cost is similar to what you'd pay in a restaurant, but we had so much that we had leftovers for the next evening (and then some). A great chance to have some tasty Cuban cuisine. The house is in a small neighbourhood right across from the fortifications. If you want to get over to the other side of the harbour, you'll need a taxi (about 10 cuc). It's very peaceful. I really can't say enough about this place!

The place was beautiful and peaceful, it was a retreat for us…the service was amazing, and the domestic lady was super helpful when we needed anything, including recommending local restaurants. Even with the power outrage, we were comfortable in the house with electricity, I will definitely recommend the place and I will be back when I come back to Cuba.

Selected this location for its proximity to Fábrica de Arte Cubano but even though the FAC was closed for remodeling we were happy to have found it. Guest area is on the second floor of a big home on the corner of the intersection of two streets with a veranda elevated above the street corner. There were lots of plants and creature comforts at this unit and the housekeeper Belkis was awesome! Though this review rates the property at five stars it's rating is intended to be relative to other properties in the area. So, even though there was some street noise in the rooms at night (nice touch providing the ear plugs) and the common area wasn't air conditioned it was still much nicer than surrounding properties. Thanks for such a nice stay and thanks again for Belkis- she's charming, thorough and attentive!

We had a wonderful stay at casa densil. However, it’s important to note the following: - if you are looking for a 5-star luxury stay in a high end neighborhood, this may not be for you. - if you are looking to live amongst the people, experience the culture, and truly see the city, this is the place for you We always felt safe walking (we didn’t typically stay out past 10pm), but the neighborhood(s) surrounding casa densil are pretty run down. But the location was great for us as we were able to walk almost anywhere within 10-15 min. The amenities were limited, but we had hot running water, electricity, food & beverage, beds and functioning air conditioning However, what made casa densil an unforgettable stay was less about the location and amenities, it was the people. I will fail to name them all, but we literally had 9 people committed around the clock to making our stay memorable. They were swift to help us out with literally anything. We will never forget them!

We spent a special days at the house, Mina's attention was spectacular, that lady is special. We will return. Pasamos unos días especiales en l casa y Mina es un amor de persona, ella hizo especial nuestra estancia.

An authentic Cuban finca all for yourself, with a spacious clean and neat house and a huge garden with fruit trees. My partner and I felt at home here, and always so well taken care of by the utterly and genuinely friendly hosts. We missed these people and the place as soon as we left. We enjoyed daily short strolls to the nearby village Barreras (for buying produce etc), and the around 45 min walk to the most gorgeous beach nearby. One can also take taxi to the beach, and to the bigger and busier beach-town Guanabo. It may be smart to bring your own mosquito net/tent, but only for the twilight and early mornings, even though we rarely got bitten. The kitchen is spaceous and has all the basics. I can warmly recommend it, with its local Cuban charm and the most helpful and exellent hosts. This place is a gem!

Ana’s place is just beautiful, and much more spacious than we expected, the photos don’t give it justice. It is walking distance to the main plazas. We were welcomed by Mildred and Mila who are the kindest and warmest hosts we have encountered. They explained to us everything, gave us recommendations and we felt at home right away. Our trip was cut short by an emergency back home so we left earlier than we planned. We were sad to leave this beautiful airbnb but we hope to be back soon. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Lillie’s place was amazing. Place is located nearby restaurants and bars, but still quiet at the night. Perfect location and Lilli is a such great host, Trustful, helpful, she waited on us to arrive so she can explain all details. Definitely coming again.

The hostess was very kind at the reception , giving us tips on what to do in the area .

The place is identical as in the images posted, the hosts were very kind and kind , the place is located in a safe area, the care of the habana are very friendly and they are always willing to help in what you need , without hesitation I would recommend the accommodation I would stay again

Very happy to have stayed with Yurguen from the beginning to the end she cared about every need or demand we had , she went to pick us up at the airport, she is very helpful , responsible, honest, friendly , she made us feel at home with every detail she had , super recommended . He always helped us with every situation, for example, we were presented with a personal problem, something external with the airbnb and he supported us quite a bit in resolving it, he became our friend. The apartment is very nice, quite contemporary , water and gas was never a problem , with an air conditioning that works quite well , it has a comfortable glass table to read or study , a balcony to go out for a rich cup of coffee and a quite comfortable bed, certainly my best decision.

Alex’s place is a good base if you are in Habana. It is located close to old Habana and the Capitolium. The apartment is well equipped, you can find all what you need. Alex was helpful, you can reach him anytime. We did not meet him, but his friend and his brother took care of us. An extra plus that he gives you a cuban sim card, so you are not tied to a place when you browsing on the internet.

Being in this place was wonderful the apartment and Havana. Super recommended. Yeny and Popo are incredibly friendly and always for whatever you need. They arrange taxis to go and drop off to the airport. We had an incredible vacation thanks to them. The breakfast they gave us is excellent, rich and quite. And one of the strong points is the terrace overlooking the roofs of Old Havana.

Very friendly at all times, without a doubt if I return to Havana I would stay with them, highly recommended and cares a lot for the guest A 1000 out of 100 !

We were very happy in the apartment for the quality of the environment, the excellent attention of the host and the privileged area with services and cultural offer. She was ahead of our needs and was also foresight of what we might need these days in the city. We celebrate being in that relaxed and aesthetic environment, near the points of interest in a safe area with many advantages for someone who will be a few days in the city and does not want to miss anything. Being in a quiet and quiet place also allowed us to have a deep and necessary rest before and after traveling.

5 stars doesn't sum the exceptional experience we had at this property. the entire team that manages this spacious 4 room en-suite was fantastic. each bedroom as it's own private bathroom which was perfect for our 4 person group. we had access to a responsive host, on site cleaning, and private chef. The roof top access and optional al fresco dining was a must do. hands down one of our favorite meals when visiting Cuba. on the last day, we ran into car trouble and the hosts were gracious enough to do complimentary late check out and offered us light snacks and coffee to wait inside until it was resolved. thank you Yeneir, Gladis, Gretyl and team. To anyone considering this property, our group definitely reccomend!

They were great.. been very accomodating. House has very comfy beds. Showers had awesome water pressure. Breakfast was fabulous also. Joli was wonderful

From the moment we arrived, Yaquelin and Laura made us feel welcome. They took time to show us around and get us settled. The home is so much better than the pictures. If there was a 10 plus rating, Villa Baby deserves it. Having on suite bathrooms for each bedroom and a half bath on each floor in a rental home is amazing. The beds were comfortable and the house is kept clean. Mariano lovingly cares for the grounds and it shows. The outside area and pool are beautiful. Having Mariano there to ensure the house was locked up at night made us feel safe. The location is fabulous, great for walkers, walkable to restaurants and small markets and the main market is only one mile away. The location is a quick inexpensive ride to Vedado Havana. Barbara is responsive, even helping me find a nearby rental for our friends. I would highly recommend you rent Villa Baby. Thanks to Laura, Yaquelin, and Mariano for taking good care of our group and for our delicious breakfasts.

This host is just amazing, always proactive to offer a multitude of advice and service, taxi order for example, collective (unique experience) or private, advice on payments and uses in Havana, exchange proposal at a favorable rate. About this place, I award the label "Nuits calmes", a label offered by me! Indeed, it is very important for me to be certain, on vacation, to be able to sleep peacefully. And in an almost permanent boiling neighborhood, it's very important. The room opens onto a very nice patio where you have your homemade breakfast. A more general note: Cuba needs us, tourists. Don't listen to the negative reviews, I spent 7 days in Havana without any insecurity issues, even hanging out late everywhere. A rule of thumb: Don't walk with jewelry, or your mobile phone in hand, there may be robbery, like under the Eiffel Tower in Paris.
