Beautiful place to stay

Thanks again to Iliana, Luis and Erena for their excellent hosting. The place was very clean, good location and very comfortable with air conditioning. The hosts were very attentive and helped us several times to advise us and give us all the information we needed. Thank you for the stay we will remember! Marinax y Leïlax 🫶

Everything was great. We didn’t meet Anissa, but she was always responsive. Olguita checked us in and made us a delicious breakfast the first morning. We also got lucky as they changed our dollars at a fair rate of 240, which wasn’t always the case in other places in Havana. The Wi-Fi was very slow and stopped working on our last night. And the $35 SIM card we purchased for the week from them didn’t work for data unfortunately, but that’s more the fault of the overall network. And at the end of our stay we went out in style! Olguita reserved a beautiful vintage car to take us to the airport for $30. It had no seatbelts, but it was fun to ride in an old car!

The apartment and my stay was amazing! Everything was just as it had to be, the communication was extraordinary, Laura is an amazing host and her parents made my stay feel so familiar. With every doubt or problem one could turn to Rafael and know that it’s going to be solved! The apartment itself was super clean, cozy and simply perfect. 10/10, everybody travelling to Havana should definitely stay in this apartment and experience the amazing neighbourhood in the perfect apartment with the nicest hosts!! There is not a thing I would change!!!

Martha is a warm generous friendly host who met us at the apartment and showed us how keys etc worked. Apartment was clean and in a great location. Martha was on hand at the end of the phone (located in the apartment) to answer questions about transport and banking hours. A great host. I would definitely recommend her apartment to friends visiting Havana

I love this place, spacious, clean, peaceful and the basics you need. Yanet was super helpul giving directions to my driver and finding the house is no problem. On arrival she was waiting outside and went with us to point out all the locations near us to buy food and other stuff. Beach is less than 4 blocks away which is not a far walk at all. 3 blocks from the 5th main street where you can find about everything including restaurants open until really late at night. The pool is amazing and the back area its in really fresh big and relaxing. Yanet does live in the far back house but you hardly see her and when you do its always good conversations with her. She makes you feel right at home and always available for anythings thats needed. Location felt really safe plus theirs a night guard thats always on duty. Defiantly marked as my favorite and saved for future stays in Guanabo. Thank you Yanet, i will be back soon.

The team was amazing 🤩 throughout our entire stay. Very respectful, responsive and accommodating. When we visit again we will definitely stay here. The 3 things I noticed are: 1. the workout equipment was old and out dated so no gym 2. the pool was not kept as clean as I am used to , which could have been due to the windy conditions we had with plenty of leaves 🍂 🍁 falling in 3. no active mosquito repellent such as off or the coil available for use Other than that the stay was great, even during the blackout, the staff worked very hard to get the generator running so we at least had electricity throughout the blackout and fans in the evening so our stay would be comfortable. We all had a blast and were very happy with the staff, they took very good care of us. I will miss them all already! Best 50th birthday celebration ever!!!

It was something amazing, the stay, the treatment and the rooms are really beautiful

Pros: The house was beautiful and private. The photos were accurate and the main house is like a art museum. The pool was refreshing especially on the hot cuba days. Your room has AC!!! Cons: wifi was not the best and hindered communication throughout our stay but our host tried her best to communicate with us(we had bad weather and power outages not her fault),hard to find cabs because the area the house is located is small(we found a man we liked and we arranged transport with him everyday) ,not many options as far as food or activities near by. There is a restaurant next door that is very expensive and the food was not good. There is a small cafeteria across the street where you can get a reasonably priced burger and it was tasty. The gentleman was also very friendly. There is a third restaurant around the corner that is also pricey. And fyi main house does not have air conditioning. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Cuba was beautiful and our host was gracious.

we have been in Havana for a month and from January 5th to 15th we were in this wonderful house. all the facilities in the world since there were taxis and on top we changed the money right there. the house is impressive. with pool jakuzi barbecue etc...but what I liked most is the treatment of Gabriel and his family..at all times due to us in case we needed anything...definitely when I return to Havana I will come back here... has been the best accommodation of the stay in cuba. thank you to Gabriel and his family for the good treatment we were given at all times

I had an excellent stay at Susanna’s! The house has 2 separate apartments, one on the second floor, one in the back of the home, all with separate and privet entrances. It’s great for 2 couples, or a family of 5. The rooms/apartments are clean and kitchens have everything you clean, bathrooms are clean with towels. Rooms get cleaned every second day and the property is maintained daily. The pool is clean and deep. There are different Wifi packages available for purchase on the first day, but not unlimited. The house is 5 minute walk to the zoo, 10-15 minute walk to grocery stores, restaurants and bars Susanna and her husband are very sweet and accommodating people, you can tell they take pride in maintaining their property and gardens and insuring you a great stay. Susanna also will help you with taxi services, and recommend areas to go to. Thank you Susanna, I hope to be back soon

The stay at Lucia’s place is incredible! The view from the terrace overlooking the Havana bay is spectacular. Lucia and Luis offered very helpful tips and everyday I feel invited. Definitely will revisit.

This is a super cozy apartment in an old house. The apartment is very clean, a lot of interesting decor elements and a wonderful balcony. They give you a phone with a local sim card. We arrived on a strange day for Cuba - there was a black out all over the island, there was no electricity anywhere. But the host prepared very well - candles, a lamp were prepared for us, there was water and soda in the fridge (for an additional fee, but at store prices, which is good and fair). The host did not make recommendations for restaurants nearby, but also guided us before them. We were greeted very friendly, we had a nice chat! In addition, the host helped us a lot in solving our problem - my husband forgot his phone in a collective taxi, we did not have a taxi driver's phone, mobile internet because of black out worked poorly. But the host contacted the owner of our past casa, after long conversations he found out the taxi driver's phone and arranged for the phone to be returned to us the next morning. Thank you so much for your help!

Everything was fine ! Jenny was very friendly and helped us where to eat , what to do , etc. It was like living like a local . Great experience .

Great place and amazing hosts! Elvira and Gerardo made sure we were comfortable at all times and were available whenever we had questions. They are super helpful and very knowledgeable on where to go and the transportation system around the city. The place was spacious, clean with all the amenities - it lacked nothing. This will definitely be our place to stay when visiting Cuba.

We had a wonderful stay - the hosts are so friendly and welcoming and we’re so helpful (especially with all our money questions!). The neighbourhood is authentic and safe. It was a perfect spot for our Havana trip and we definitely recommend.
