We had an awesome stay here! The cabin is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. This is one of those places where they thought of everything you would need to feel comfortable and right at home. The hot tub was very nice, fun pool table in the basement (though they need some new pool sticks), the beds were extremely comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, etc. We also really enjoyed walking around in the woods behind the cabin with our kids - very peaceful and quiet. We would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed over New Year’s Eve with friends. Marla was very responsive to any questions we had. We enjoyed the place and especially the hot tub. Would stay here again.

What a wonderful place! My Bookclub rented Wendy’s beautiful property for a long weekend of reading, relaxing, and hanging out and it was a wonderful space. Great to gather together to cook, play games, or just chat. It also has lovely views of the lake and a fantastic hot tub. The cabin was honestly even more beautiful than the pictures and very clean. Wendy was responsive to any questions we had. We all hope to come back in the future!

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at this beautiful lake house! The home is cozy, well-equipped, and made us feel right at home. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with stunning lake views. The perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and recharge. Highly recommend!

Perfect place for 5 adults to unwind over a weekend. Hiked in the woods on trails and cooked tasty meals. Great hot tub. Comfortable beds.

It is a beautiful home right on the water. It was super clean. We had a lot of fun playing games and watching movies after sitting in the hot tub as it lightly snowed. We also caught fish while ice fishing right in front of the cabin.

We love the Cable Cabin. This was our second stay here. We were in town for a cross country ski race. Location was perfect as we could walk to The Rivers Eatery, book shop, Velo Cafe and grocery store. At last stay we walked to the local ice skating rink. Love lounging in the warm living room watching the snow fall on the trees. Enjoyed playing Galaga! Appreciate the yoga mats and foam roller. Kitchen had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Was also nice to do a load of laundry. Ben was a great host. I highly recommend the Cable Cabin.

We loved our long weekend at this cabin! Though it was an extreme cold snap, we ventured out for short walks on the peninsula, and mostly stayed cozy inside with a fire in the wood stove all day long. No issues at all with heat or hot water in the severely cold weather. Eric was so helpful when my car wouldn't start at check-out time, accommodated my delayed departure, and talked me through using his car battery charger. This made sure our great weekend ended on a high note!

This was a quaint little place and perfect for what we needed! We will be staying there again next time we’re in the area!

This was a wonderful and cozy getaway during the coldest cold snap of the season! Got down to -19° F outside but thanks to the wood burning stove, we were able to get the cabin as warm as 100° F...probably overkill on our part, but let that speak as a testament to the insulation, lol. Anyways, great stay, exactly as described. So quiet, beautiful starry skies, and surprisingly comfortable beds. We’d love to come back and explore more of the trails when weather isn’t sub-zero!

We always feel so incredibly fortunate to get to stay at Brandi’s cabin on the flowage. It is a peace we look forward to enjoying a few times a year. The blue jays filled the lines and the swans kept in search of open water. It was perfection! Peaceful even amidst the hurry of the holidays. Cannot wait to return ♥️🌲

We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful and peaceful get away! Such an incredibly cozy cabin, perfect for curling up with a book inside on a cold winter day - made even better by the incredible selection of books and records Laurie and David provided at the cabin. The landscape was beautiful, and everything was so well prepared and put together. It's clear that a lot of work has been put into providing the Blue Cabin with everything you could want for an escape from the city. David and Laurie were also incredibly helpful when we needed to get our dog to a vet on short notice. They were incredible hosts and I am thankful that they shared their cabin with us.

Wonderful trail side place. Loved being in nature with more than your standard camping amenities. Beautiful cabins, perfectly clean bathrooms and showers, sauna, accessible firewood, quiet, right on the trails — and lots of hooks inside! Loved everything about it!

Great little cabin for 4 adults. Very comfortable and clean. Host was very quick to respond and friendly. Had everything and looked just like the pictures. Super easy to find and very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful retreat only 90 minutes from the Twin Cities. Very cozy cabin with efficient heating, log fire, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen and lots of reading material to while away time in the rocking chair. Felt very isolated in a wholesome way. Peaceful, we will be coming back but when there is snow on the ground and it’s -15F it’s special!

A little piece of paradise! Our week long stay at “Silence Seekers” was the perfect way to pause and reset! Our family of 4 along with our pup enjoyed so many games, movies and fires (inside and out)! The pizza oven was such a fun experience, and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook comfort food and bake together! Also, the king bed was SO comfortable! The entire home was so clean and inviting! Fresh picked flowers on the table, maple syrup and chocolates, and a view that just doesn’t get old!! We miss it already and are talking about when we can return. Thank you Mary!

Amazing place. Super cozy and comfortable. The wood burning stove and record player created a magical retreat for creating family memories. The loft is adorable and very spacious! The basement was way roomier than expected. All beds were very comfortable!! and a total hit with my kids. Communication was quick and easy and Naomi was great at checking in with us throughout our stay. Highly recommend!!!

Kevin's place was perfect in every way! The Homestead cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable and the perfect size for us. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family!
