Holiday houses in Mille Lacs Lake

The Chicken Coop was exactly what the girls and I were looking for to hold our annual mom’s weekend away. Plenty of space to spread out and relax, while being cozy and comfortable to just hang together to reconnect and cluck. The uniqueness of the home kept us engaged in hypothetical scavenger hunts, and the location was close to both shopping and good dining. We love the Brainerd Lakes area, and Steve & Jake offered us a pleasant, fun, cozy spot to visit and explore. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

A group of girlfriends stayed here for a get together and to say we were blown away would be an understatement! The house was even more beautiful than the pictures and has an amazing view of the lake! It was so peaceful to sit and drink coffee, especially with the changing leaves. Chris is very responsive and helpful. They have clear instructions for departure and always willing to help if there is a question. I will absolutely be recommending anyone and everyone to stay here. I, myself, would LOVE to stay again!

Super nice stay for a group of 4 couples! More than enough space for privacy but also perfect size for hanging out in the living room or pool table room in the basement. Beds were very comfortable!

This is our second time at this beautiful cabin. Brian and Sandra are great communicators and very responsive. They provided great recommendations for restaurants in the area and the cabin is immaculate. The kitchen has everything you need to grill or cook meals yourself. There is a lot of seating options inside and outside. We rented the pontoon and kayaks along with our stay and spent a lot of time on the lake. Sunset cruises were beautiful. There are a lot of unique personal touches within this cabin- you will love your stay here and we will be returning again. Brian and Sandra are really lovely people.

It was PREFECT! The home was so cute, cozy and clean! The host was great and quick to respond! Definitely would come back again.

It was the PERFECT place for our large group. Bunk room was perfect for all the younger people, and 4 more bedrooms (3 with en-suite bathrooms!) were wonderful for the adults. Jason was responsive and friendly, and always had the info we needed. The location is gorgeous, even when the lake is frozen. We went to nearby Isle Bowl and Pizza and had a blast. The kitchen is well equipped, there are a TON of games and more than adequate seating for family time and meals. I highly recommend this house. I would like to book in the summer if I can.
