Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Emporia

We drove from IL and had an accident. The 9hr trip took 17 and we were STRESSED! As soon as I opened the door every bit of the days stress melted away! We felt right at home! And we slept like babies! I loved walking my dog in the morning on the property with some coffee! Perfect! Kathy was kind enough to let me put up a Christmas tree and I had everything for our family dinner! I am definitely hoping to stay again! Thank you so very much for sharing your beautiful home! We felt very blessed indeed! If I had one little thing to say in the con column would be, I have a very bad back, fused, I couldn't sit on the furniture in family room because it was so low to the ground. I solved the problem by bringing in the great bentwood rocker from porch put a pillow on it and I was perfect as I'm a rocker anyway! Thank you again for a vacation I never forget! We would recommend North Arrow to anyone!! 5 stars from us!!!

It was a wonderful place to stay. The house was spacious with 3 lovely bedrooms. I really loved the fact that I was so close to Shawnee so I could visit with my grandchildren and they could come and stay with me on weekends. I would highly recommend this place for others and I hope to come back and rent it again soon! Thank You

Very easy to check in and out. Clear written instructions in the house once we arrived on what all we needed to do as well as how we needed to leave the house. Very clean with everything you could need. Great communication with host and she was very accommodating. Would definitely want to stay here again!

A great guy to deal with and always responsive to help in any need or communication. Been here before and hopefully be back for years to come! Worth every penny to come to this house.

This space was awesome for us while we packed up our home and was nice to have a home away from the home that was being packed up. It was comfortable and quiet. Would stay again. Had everything we needed and more.

Exceptional home with all the amenities you will need.

This unique accommodation is as fun and funky as the photos, so you'll enjoy exploring it, as we did! The kitchen (well stocked) is really the only updated space, and the rest of the house is on the shopworn side, but the decor definitely makes up for it, and there's so much room to spread out. The beds are in fine shape, which is something that matters a lot to us. You may want to know that the second bathroom with the shower is not en suite, which was a little bit of a surprise. It's at the opposite end of the house (past the kitchen) from the three main-floor bedrooms. But the location actually made it easier for our party -- two couples -- to share the shower since the other bath has only a tub. The location can't be beat. It's such a beautiful and walkable neighborhood! I also should add that both the property manager and owner are extremely responsive. We discovered the home's hairdryer had gone missing, and we were most grateful that they acted quickly to replace it.

Very comfortable and well stocked house. Kitchen was great, had everything we needed. And the family enjoyed the pool table and Alexa music. The walk to the grocery was easy, and there is a running trail nearby for those who need to get outside. Excellent stay.

Needed a place to stay while in the area for work, would definitely recommended this place over a motel room. Londa is a great host; the house was clean and we had everything we needed.

I rented this for my step daughter and her husband as I was unable to accommodate them on their trip. I accidentally have my step daughter the wrong code and Neil was so quick to respond and help them get in. They loved staying here!

We absolutely loved the historic building and location, and renovation and decor in the unit were stellar! The experience inside the space is much more expansive than can be captured in photos. Extremely high tin ceilings with tall windows and contemporary furnishings.. Plus a great restaurant and coffee shop right across the street! Nicky was very friendly, responsive and flexible. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Everything about our stay was fantastic! Melissa was great, the location was perfect and the room was phenomenal for what we needed. Also - the muffin delivery was top notch. We loved our stay here and highly recommend!!

Really enjoyed our stay while visiting our daughter at K State. Easy walk to campus and Aggieville. Good neighborhood and apartment was well set up. Only complaint was the beds were a bit hard. Communication was fantastic and they even looked for a necklace I realized I lost after leaving and contacted me when they found it. We will be back!

As cute as the pictures show. very kind and helpful host and co-host. I loved having a television in bedroom, have to say first one I think I have stayed in with that option. I need some noise to keep me from hearing all the outside noises of being in a strange place.

Julie was very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Her space was just as pictured. It was extremely clean, comfy, and quiet. Great value indeed, would stay again!
