Apartment holiday rentals in Edinburgh Old Town

Lynne's place was ideal for visiting Edinbrough and had stunning views of the castle and city skyline from every window. The apartment was super clean, very secure and quiet, and only a ten-minute walk to the Castle, the Princes Gardens, and the National Museum of Scotland. It was well supplied with everything you could need, and was very comfortable and cute. We highly recommend it!

We absolutely loved our say at Susie and Amit’s apartment. Not only did their lovely space make us feel right at home but they did so much to make us feel welcome and are extremely generous hosts. The flat was spacious, clean and comfortable and was a space where we loved spending time throughout the day. The flat came with an incredible view of the city, and was so convenient as it’s right in the heart of the old town. We have stayed in Edinburgh many times and thanks to Susie and Amit’s amazing hospitality, this was easily the best experience we have had in the city. Thank you both so much for such a wonderful stay!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment, very central to the city, yet still had that private, home from home feel. Beds are super comfortable and the place was squeaky clean. Craig and Holly are fantastic and super accommodating! I couldn’t recommend them more!

The apartment was perfect for my sister’s hen do. It fit us all in easily and was the perfect location within Edinburgh centre.

Dawn's place was everything we needed, it was easy to find, and very comfortable for a couple. The room was nice and clean, we didn't use the fireplace but it was an option, kitchen was well equipped. We had a lovely long weekend in Edinburgh, and the stay was great!

We had a wonderful stay in Edinburgh! The location is great and walkable, with many restaurants, pubs, and parks nearby. Eddie was responsive, friendly, and gave us local recommendations. We loved it!

Our stay was very enjoyable, Johanna is a great host who provided clear instructions on getting into the flat and having the use of underground parking was very handy. The flat was very clean and tidy and close enough to walk to the old town or if required to get a bus or tram. Johanna also very kindly left us some cereal, milk and coffee for our arrival and all necessary utensils were available in the kitchen.

Gertrud is a great host, the property is as described, no nasty surprises. The beds are warm and comfy, the kitchen is super well equipped, and the kids even found spades and buckets for the beach. All in all a great stay, highly recommended for the warmer months as the beach is only 10/15 minutes away, nice sandy beach. Good frequency of trains to Edinburgh too. It is a beautiful well kept village.

It was wonderful to stay in Veronique's lovely, spacious apartment. It was beautiful and a very centrally located. We appreciated that she showed us around when we first arrived and that lots of things were provided for our stay, including a welcome pack and toiletries. Beautiful flat that is right by the castle! Very walkable to restaurants and shops. Excellent hosts who were very hospitable. We very much enjoyed our stay!

100% recommended. The area is very quiet and the neighborhood is charming, with excellent transport connections to the city center. Just a few meters away, there is a hypermarket that makes everyday shopping very convenient. The accommodation offers all the advertised services, with impeccable cleanliness and clear rules from the start. Without a doubt, it’s an ideal place to stay for all types of travelers—families with children, couples, or groups of friends. Staying here made our vacation even more enjoyable than we expected. Loved this spot!! Super cozy and chill, the large living room was perfect. We did forget about the 4 floors of stairs we needed to take up, and we heard some late night parties going home pretty clearly through the window facing the street. Overall a really great stay!

We had a wonderful stay, the apartment was beautiful and very clean with great beds, kitchen and bathrooms. It’s located in a peaceful, beautiful neighbourhood within walking distance to all amenities and city centre. Would totally recommend and stay there again! Thank you!

This is a lovely place to stay in Edinburgh. We had a car so wanted to stay a little bit out of the city centre and this was perfect. Is easy to walk into the city centre but also has great restaurants and coffee nearby. Was easy to get in and felt very secure. Had an extremely comfortable bed and a cosy atmosphere. We really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous apartment right in the middle of old town. We had a fantastic stay there and will definitely look to come back when we're next in town! Very professional staff and nicely decorated with tips on local places and discounts. Loved it!

Angus’ place was absolutely lovely. Lots of space, clean, beautiful kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bed and sofa. Location is spectacular with just a 7-10 minutes walk to the main city centre and Waverley Station. Loads of bars and restaurants right at your doorstep. Unbeatable. The only thing I would mention is that the stairwell up to the flat is quite dark, some steps are uneven and steep. Nothing be alarmed about but it is worth keeping in mind.

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

This will be our go-to stay in Edinburgh. Walkable from Waverly train station, Hollyrood, Royal Mile, Castle, Grassmarket, Princes St….like seriously so central. The bed is incredibly comfortable, the kitchen is perfect for travelers & the fireplace was amazing after chillier than expected weather walking around exploring all day. It’s beautifully decorated & we felt at home for 6 nights! We actually loved the daily stairs as we came home having lost weight on vaca, lol! Thank you for your hospitality Lindsey!

Very close to a lot of restaurants. Close to the places we wan to go even the castle. We had a great.

We had a great stay at Maggie's place. The house was very cozy, neat and clean. The bathrooms, kitchen, utensils, bed sheets, towels, etc were all very clean. There was lots of stuff for the childrens to enjoy in Maggie's place. The house was loaded with all the modern amenities. There was not a single thing in the house which was non functional. The host was very prompt in responding to any query we had. To add, the locality is very peaceful. If I happen to come again, I would love to stay in Maggie's place. Not to forget the wonderful drinks, beverages, snacks, etc Maggie kept f to welcome her guests.
