Fabulous location in a beautiful, well equipped house with plentiful accommodation for 12 people. Comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms.

Will and Giles were excellent hosts, communication was excellent and fast, answered any questions I had, their cottage was clean and fresh and in a great location, 5 minutes walk into coniston, I highly recommend this cottage, it was lovely and I would definitely go again, loved it

Had a lovely extended weekend at this house for a birthday celebration. The house is excellent, clean well looked after and exactly as described. Lots of room for a family of 6 (plus toddler) and extended visitors. The location of the house is superb, halfway between Windermere Village and the tourist attractions of Bowness on Windermere and easily walkable to both. Our host Lizzie was brilliant. Very attentive and left us with lots of suggestions for things to do which we took up. Highly recommended and we will certainly look to book again if we stay in the area.

Our family had a great stay at this Airbnb. It was perfect for our two small families. It was walkable to the town and the lake. Perfect for a lovely weekend in the Lake District!

It was absolutely immaculate, incredibly clean and very comfy. Welcomed with a gift of wine and biscuits! It had everything we needed, plenty of towels, dressing gowns for the hot tub, hand soaps etc. We had a really lovely stay.

We loved spending time in Keswick between Christmas and New Year. Elisabeth’s property was the perfect spot for enjoying some nice big walks right on the doorstep, and then being able to wander into Keswick town for some good food and drinks.

Very clean and located right by the village and its pubs and shops. House spotlessly clean great shower and also clear housekeeping instructions along with useful information around local walks etc. This was my first time using Airbnb and was really impressed

Me and my friends had a fantastic time in Windermere thanks to the location and space we had with Johns flat. We couldn't have asked for anything more to be honest, particularly considering the low price that was paid. Will definitely stay here again when we next come to visit!

Thanks for a lovely stay! We had an incredible time at Swirl How and would highly recommend. There was a small issue with the radiators however our host (Sharon) was extremely proactive in resolving it, went above and beyond. Our host was very friendly and approachable. This is a super comfortable apartment with a perfect location to enjoy Windermere and surrounding areas. Easy transport (train and buses) nearby. Can't wait to visit again!

Wonderful place to stay near Wastwater. Beautiful flat, nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On the first floor with outdoor steps. Easy short walk down to the lake to swim or launch paddlboards. Can walk fells from the flat, perfect location. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Lovely little flat that was comfortable and homely. Had everything we needed for an overnight stay and well located near the High Street. Had dinner at the Black Bull which was lovely. Would certainly stay here again!

It is a really nice place to stay. Kids really enjoyed the bath time The place is very quiet and not far away from the town centre. Liam also kindly offered the high chair for the baby. We have spent a pleasant time here.

Perfect location, nice and easy to find, so so cosy, cannot explain how much enjoyed the stay we will definitely be back, will 100% be recommending it to everyone. Do not be hesitant to book will be the best decision you make.

The cottage is adorable and very comfortable, well suited for 2 people - for 4 it gets tight. We spent almost a week there and felt very comfortable. The cottage is clean and perfectly located for walking into the center of Ambleside or starting directly on one of the beautiful hikes. Shortly there was a problem with the heater, but Tracy and Adrian responded immediately and within 2 hours a plumber was there and fixed everyone! Will come again any time!

Another lovely stay at this beautiful, cosy cottage. We enjoyed a peaceful Hogmanay in stormy weather - wild and windy outside but toasty by the fire. Would recommend to anyone seeking a quiet break in stunning scenery.

Great cottage for our family stay in Windermere, we couldn’t have asked for a better property and location. The property was really nice and clean, well resourced and set up with everything you could have needed during the stay. We made use of the complimentary leisure facilities for all the family. Great location with lots of bars, restaurants, choice of supermarkets and easy bus and train routes. We would love to return and carry on exploring the area using the cottage as our base.

A truly stunning and remarkable home tucked in the heart of Lake Windermere. We loved our stay here and recommend this place to everyone! The children loved the hot-tub and exploring the woods which led straight onto Lake Windermere. Mark & Ruth were so hospitable leaving us a complimentary welcome basket and daily gifts! And even created a marble slope In the woods for the children, making it a remarkable and enjoyful break during half term. One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve stayed in worldwide for sure! Last week we had the pleasure of staying in Wren Cottage for 3 nights. Prior to our arrival Daphne, was super proactive in sharing detailed information in preparation for our stay and there was further information upon our arrival, with some great recommendations for local walks, one of which we explored on our final day. Wren cottage itself was spotlessly clean, warm, cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. However the real highlight for us was its beautifully tranquil location and direct access onto the stunning Coniston lake, where we were able to fully immerse ourselves in nature through both sitting by the lakeshore and paddle-boarding. We will definitely look to return to Wren in the future and would recommend it to anybody looking for a nourishing, country escape.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The cottage and surroundings where stunning, spacious. It was lovely and warm inside, the hot tub was hot when we arrived. there everything you need and more inside The way Jerry communicates and gives you all the information you need is brilliant.
