The Sunny House was the perfect place for me and my family. Hana and Tony were extremely accommodating to our needs. Everything you would need, an impeccably clean and modern house and great location for The Lakes. When I'm back up again I will be looking to stay here. I highly recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow. Easy to find because David sent accurate instructions. The place was lovely and clean, with comfy beds. The garden was fully secure for dogs and lots of walks from the property, with easy access to the beach. Great accommodation, and I'm sure we will return.

Lovely stay at this cottage. Beautiful peaceful courtyard with relaxing fountains which catches the sun. Played cards outside in the evening. We went with our 2 pugs and 2 teens and everyone had a great time. Dogs could go out into the yard safely and there is a lovely park over the road. Lovely lounge with room for everyone to relax and well equipped kitchen. The location- a short walk to St Anne’s pier - is great but I would agree it’s tricky to find on a first visit. Watch the bollard when parking in the space. Highly recommended.

Another lovely stay for the kids and I at Susan’s place. We look forward to the sea views from the sofa as a particular highlight every time we come. I think this might have been our fourth trip!

We've just returned from a wonderful, relaxing Christmas break at Woodholm, and it was simply perfect. Linda and Paul (and pooches Midge and Tess) are fabulous hosts, extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly, and a mine of information on the local area. The house itself is furnished to a very high standard; cozy, warm and comfortable, and the kitchen equipped with everything we needed (and more) to be able to cook a full Christmas dinner. We were also thankful for the lovely treats on our arrival! There are views to the sea from almost every window, and access to the beach is just a few steps away from the house and we were able to have a lovely walk along the coast in both directions, watching the birds and taking in the views.(The lighthouse is very photogenic!). It's not often you get to find a hidden gem as good as this, and we'll definitely be back. Thankyou both so much for your kindness and hospitality, and making our Christmas a little extra special. Happy New Year!

Great location to explore the area from - we barely had to use the car as there was plenty to explore on our doorstep. The house was roomy and had incredible views! It was very warm and had everything we needed. It could definitely do with a deep clean but was clean enough for a short stay. Other than that we had a great stay!

A Perfect Beach Getaway – Spotless, Stunning, and Great Value! We had the most amazing stay at this beach house! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking sea views – waking up to the sight and sound of the waves was an absolute dream. The house itself was immaculate, spotlessly clean, and beautifully maintained, making it a truly comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Travelling with our two young daughters, we really appreciated how well-equipped and family-friendly the space was. Everything was thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect – just a stone’s throw from the beach, allowing us to enjoy morning walks and sunset views right on our doorstep. On top of all this, the value for money was incredible. We’ve stayed in many places, but this one really exceeded all expectations. We can’t recommend it highly enough and will definitely be returning!

We’ve had a lovely stay, hosts were helpful and friendly and gave great tips for things to do. The bungalow itself was kitted out with everything needed and some lovely touches were added. Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely Old Home 10mins drive from the center or Blackburn and a Great base for exploring the Countryside. Stayed here while vising family over Christmas. The House is an older property and has a few scars and dings here n there. But in some ways that only adds to the Charm and we immediately felt at home there. Feels 'Lived in' unlike some places that are very cold and clinical. Not this place. Great Kitchen with everything you could want. Washing machine / Dryer & a Great TV. Lovely furniture, Huge comfy sofa / chairs. Great internet and amazing views. 4 mins walk to a train station which will take you almost anywhere (We went to watch a show in Manchester City Centre). Walking distance to pubs and Grocery stores. The Lady next door stopped by to say hello and was very friendly. Host (Alexandra) very responsive and helped us with a little issue we had very quickly. So glad we found this place and had a great stay. 5 stars from me ! Thank you so much!

Lovely home, super clean and stylish. Very well equiped!

We had a lovely relaxing couple of nights at carols. Had everything ready for us on arrival, a few extra items like bread/milk cereal/ crumpets/teas/coffee and some biscuits. All of which was very nice and unexpected. The garden was ideal for our 2 dogs ,who also had treats/toys left for them. We visited a couple of the local areas where we were able to walk our dogs and get some much needed fresh air after our travels! We look forward to a return trip .

The house was perfect for our family getaway. Situated in calm and quiet village, we were perfectly located to visit the Lake District, the Pennines, the Yorkshire Dales and even Hadrian’s Wall. The local pub was delicious (especially for the Sunday roast). Best hosts you can ask for: responsive, accommodating and friendly. The place was also very clean, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a month. (The kids really liked the board games.) We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

We had the best weekend. The most amazing property with everything you need to make you feel at home, the location was perfect to walk into town and not too far from walking/ hiking trails. We would definitely return 😊💗
