This is recent modern Barn conversion. (Jan 2015) It contains one large kitchen/dining/lounge area, one double bedroom with en suite facilities. June 2017 added second Living Space area with view of adjacent farm and wood, Lobby area with Laundry facilities and a second bathroom. Please note the Grounds and external outdoor perimeter of The Barn is protected by CCTV TK Alarm Company. Please know this is a simple place. It once was out buildings, however you will find it warm and homely.

Old World Converted Stables with Swimming Pool.

The following is what past guests have said that they love about this property; Guests commented on how old world and elegent it looks. You have a sense of being in the country with birds and squirrels in the trees but yet you are only 10 minutes to the airport and 10 minutes to the city centre. Everyone adored our closeness to the phoenix park - the pool room looks into the park.There are many activities in the park including the zoo, the hop on hop off bus, segways, rent a bike to name a few.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Marianne Cottage at Johnsfort House. This recently renovated stone cottage is cosy and inviting especially with the sun shining on the patio or the stove lit inside. The exposed stone walls, limestone hearth and deep blue painted walls are just some of the features of this beautiful cottage. Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, or a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm (Gerry is usually delighted to show families around) the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, within an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 minutes by car from Dundalk.

Beautifully restored old stone barn.

Beautiful and full of character cottage was the farms dairy. Min 2 night stay at times, but one night stay may be possible with supplement. Total cost varies depending on total no. of guests and length of stay. Ideal if attending weddings at Cabra Castle, Tankardstown, Slane Mill or Darver Castle. We are mid-way between Dublin and Belfast and ideally located to explore the rich heritage of The Boyne Valley. We also offer dinner and breakfast options....please ask and we'll forward details.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.
