Holiday houses in Monaghan

We stayed at Rebekahs place for 4 weeks and if AirBnb had a higher rating than 5 stars she would have a million. what an amazing and outstanding place with an equally amazing and outstanding host. We cannot wait to come back and stay again! Truly made our stay in Ireland an experience our kids and us wil happily remember. If you are thinking of staying in Glaslough or anywhere in Ireland for that matter, Rebekah's place is where to stay. Cannot even say enough good things about the accommodation and host! Absolutely beautiful!

Lovely stay for our one night...very comfortable after a long day of travel.

Unfortunately we had to cut our stay at Charlie's short due to the job we were there for being postponed, Charlie was very understanding. Characterful farmhouse, Charlie gave us a warm welcome.

Sabina and David’s place was something else! We stayed here for one night, they couldn’t have been more helpful. It was a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday and they put up banners and balloons, lovely touch. The cottages were beautiful inside and out. So informative and helpful no question or need was too big of a hassle for them. The outdoor cooking area has everything you need. The spa facilities were amazing and the views out onto the lake were beautiful. So relaxing and peaceful. Will definitely be back in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Laneside Haven. We booked VERY last minute due to a family bereavement but Serenus ensured everything was ready for us including milk, porridge and some gorgeous scones which went down a treat as we arrived very late after a long day travelling. The house was spotless, warm and homely and there were even toys and books for my little boy! Serenus had leaflets of activities to do nearby as well a list of restaurants/takeaways which came in handy as we didn’t know the area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come again! Thank you so much Serenus.

This was a nice homely stay. It is very secluded but peaceful. We stayed for two nights for a wedding in Castle Leslie and used local taxi service Carn Taxis. €10 from castle to keepers house and €30 from keepers house to Monaghan town. It is possible to walk to the castle (around 30 mins) but probably not advisable in the dark. Will sent clear instructions although Jackie who lives on the estate met us at the Castle anyway and directed us round. She was very helpful.
