Waterfront holiday rentals in Coles Bay

Couldn’t recommend this place more, we have 2 young children and it was so family friendly, just a short walk over the bank to the beach, a play area, amazing clean pool, every area and the whole room was clean and well maintained We will be definitely returning

I totally enjoyed this place. It’s a cute comfortable cabin that is perfect for two persons. The view is unmatchable and so is the distance to the beach. Loved it perfect for chilling out and just contemplating life.

This is one of the nicest AirBnBs we’ve stayed in. The location on Grants Lagoon is stunning and so tranquil. Gorgeous views, a pretty garden which our golden retriever loved exploring and it is fenced. We also loved that there were no stairs for her to access the yard as she’s older. We loved the comfortable King size bed, the spacious bathroom, quality linens, cosy living area, deck, BBQ and only 2 min drive to Binalong Bay beach or 10 min on the bikes provided or 20 min pleasant walk along the lagoon path or road footpath. The kitchen was well stocked with basics but make sure you bring food from nearest supermarket (the large IGA at St Helen’s is brilliant!) as Binalong Bay doesn’t have a shop. There is a great restaurant with incredible views over the beach serving pizza and gelati. They are dog friendly too. Thanks to Claire and Abel for a memorable stay, we would love to return.

Very lovely cottage in great location close to St Helens which is a lovely town. Host gave lots of useful recommendations. The outdoor area and BBQ greatly appreciated as was the laundry facilities.

Our stay was fantastic! Great communication with John and Pamela before arrival to ensure a smooth check in. Upon arrival, great recommendations and tips for our visit. Quiet spot with a great view. Unit had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Lovely and friendly hosts. Wonderful location near Bicheno and Freycinet National Park. Great spot to wrap up our Tassie tour.

We spent three days at the delightful Saltworks Beach House in February. It was a fabulous and spacious and comfortable place for us two couples ... and we loved having the sea right out the front of the place! Loved the restoration of the very historic Saltworks Overseers Cottage and the sunroom.. The rest was a little too modern for our tastes but we enjoyed it very much, just the same. We loved being able to walk along the coast, and the guys did some fishing and kayaking. Learning more about the Saltworks ruins was also really appreciated. Two of us had previously stayed at 'Lisdillon', a property that formerly owned the Saltworks complex, so we were familiar with this part of the East Coast, and it was wonderful to be back.

This little gem has lots of character with amazing views from every room. A place to rest and just take it all in. Cross the road for a wander on the beach or swim in crystal clear waters. Easy travel from St Helens.. Highly recommend.

Katherine was a super host. Very responsive. Everything was as expected. The only thing I’ll say is that I tried to explore the estate on foot but got lost as I couldn’t locate the paths - so couldn’t see the recommended sights on the estate. I didn’t want to open the gates to the enclosures. A minor issue - as the places Katherine had listed to visit on the property seemed very interesting. Oh well - next time :).

Thanks for a lovely stay. It was wonderful to arrive to a crackling fire and the peaceful lake views. We took Natalie’s local recommendations and had a delicious dinner at the Lake Leake Inn. We even saw a wombat on the way home from dinner and heard a devil in the bush. No platypus sightings this time but the beautiful lake looks just the home they may choose. The stars were spectacular with no light pollution.
