Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Coles Bay

Matt and Jo’s place is just a walkable stone’s throw from the entrance to all the great Freycinet National Park hikes, an unbeatable location if you want to start your hikes early! While there isn’t a large grocery store nearby due to the remote setting, the pantry was thoughtfully stocked with oils, spices, teas, and other basic ingredients, which made cooking easy. The views of the mountains from the house are absolutely stunning, and the surrounding wildlife made the experience even more special. It’s a very family-friendly home, with plenty of board games available after a day of hiking. We were a family of five and really appreciated the extra bedroom they offered us on the first floor. A wonderful stay all around.

Great Location. Extremely spacious accommodation. Great for a family get away. Lara was extremely easy to deal with and would always respond to any queries.

We had a lovely stay at Seakeeper. The house is walking distance to all the cafes etc and Redbill Beach, well located for Freycinet NP and wineries, homely and comfortable, and has a huge fully fenced backyard for the doggos. The kitchen is well stocked with all the essentials and cookware. Our dogs really liked being able to lounge around in the warm, fully enclosed back verandah. There are 3 grumpy little yappers next door but they only go off for a short while when you go out the back. Wifi is getting reset between guests as the settings seemed to have been wiped.

A unique experience , Scott’s place is a wonderful peaceful getaway , surrounded by trees within a very short stroll to the beach . The floor to ceiling windows really make you feel like your emersed in the natural environment . The contemporary design , well stocked kitchen and facilities in general make for a very comfortable stay . The fabulous beach and easy reach of the Freycinet peninsula make this an ideal place to explore Tasmania’s incredible east coast . Watch the sunrise over the freycinet peaks then go for a morning dip , it doesn’t get much better .

The Lisdillon Coach House is a very comfortable and well appointed house set in a beautiful and peaceful location. With private crystal clear white sandy beaches a 4 minute walk away it’s a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Walk the beaches and see the bird life whilst reading up on the colonial history of the area. We’d definitely recommend it and look forward to returning next summer.

Absolutely stunning home with beautiful surrounds! Always great to feel right at home and have space when you’re not at home. My family loved this house and the space. Memories made by the outdoor firepit and a great hike at Wineglass Bay!

Great little spot for a short stay- within walking distance of everything in Bechino and only a short drive to Freycinet. Bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed for an overnight stay. Tracey was very helpful and responsive.

We had a fantastic stay at this unit in Bicheno! The location was perfect—just a short walk to local attractions, restaurants, and shops. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was clean, well-equipped, and made a great base for exploring the area. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Bicheno!

Ian’s place is absolutely a home to consider for your next holiday stay in Coles Bay. It’s spacious, clean , fully equipped with everything needed. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in after having done a road trip, making it in time for the Wine Glass boat tour that day. The view from the living room is spectacular! Ian is a great host and fully recommended!

Beautiful spot with stunning decide

Quarterdeck Apartments was a fantastic place to stay and visit the Binalong Bay and Bay of Fires area. We enjoyed the spectacular view and the ability to walk across the street for a swim at the pristine cosy corner. Dinner at the Hub down the street was a great option too. The apartment itself was spacious and had everything you need to have a great stay. The view from the deck was great and there was a lovely barbecue area out the back.

Great location and great property! Perfect for our family!
