A true jungle experience! Axel has created a wonderfully isolated escape for those looking to get away from it all. He's a great host, always available to share his knowledge (or take you for an excursion) but also giving you space to enjoy the quiet and solitude.

This is a great place for a couple days of jungle immersion and relaxation. The view is amazing and I slept just like home. It’s very private, but there are friendly neighbors nearby if needed. The dogs made it feel safe at night and the kitty kept me entertained on the porch during the day. If you’re a bird watcher, you can sit on the porch and watch the Toucans and Scarlet macaws fly by. Give yourself some extra time for the drive in and out. The road can be an adventure in itself. Host was quick to respond to any questions and everything was well organized. I would definitely stay again!

a wonderful place 100 yards from South Jaco Beach with beautiful sunsets and probably the best waves, certainly that I have experienced. Carmen is very personable & there is a real homely community in South Beach. Rayana, one of my favorite restaurants ever is striking distance & there is also Puddlefish for live music drinks & eats. There is also a corner shop with all mod cons and the most delightful eats especially of you have a sweet tooth. Everyone is so friendly and Carmen's very pleasant daughter who speaks perfect English is also at hand for support. Its very near the iconic Mirador Las perdidas - choose your sunset from the beach or the higher jungle overlooking all of Jaco 🙂 Thoroughly recommend. Nice place, great location run by a wonderful family.

Eugenio and the family were lovely, welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. Apartment was very clean, spacious and the bed was very comfortable. A short walk to the beach, peaceful and safe location.
