This Villa was everything that the website described, and so much more. literally cannot think of a single thing to complain about. There were so many little things they did not tell you about but are included to make your stay, fun, easy and just really great. It was very clean, has excellent beds to sleep on, three really great areas to sit and enjoy the place, and the nature around it. If you love nature, and birds, we sat and saw over 35 types of birds just sitting in the back of the villa. The view from the upper balcony was superb and we sat and enjoyed our coffee each morning from there. Claire and Steve were really great people, was an honor to meet them. they were helpful and totally made sure everything was as it should be. Claire sent us some direction to find the villa and included a few pictures to help us make sure we found it easily, since Costa Rica does not have a lot of road signs, with her info we drove right up, had not problems or doubts where to go. Thanks.

This property is at the top of a hill in a gated community with beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean. We felt secure snd safe with gate to neighborhood and another to the properry. Breathtaking sunsets from the house and the deck. Very private setting. The property was extremely clean when we arrived. Lovely furnishings and no clutter. Owner left coffee for us and the kitchen is very well-stocked with sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil and other cooking supplies if needed. We made breakfast at house each day and ate other meals out. Close to a number of beaches, our favorite was Playa Ventana, just a short drive away. If you decide to go to this secluded beach, you may want to bring your own beach umbrella and chairs as they are not provided and not a lot of shade. There are a few beach towels at the house. There are good restaurants a short drive away in Santa Cruz. We had a delicious lunch at Pots & Bowl and the pizzeria in Santa Cruz was good. We hope to stay again!

Just finished up a magical week at Villa Ahora and we’re so sad to have to leave. The house itself was perfect for our family of 4, and came with so many amenities to keep us very comfortable (both at home and while beach hopping). Steve was super helpful with directions and supporting advice. The place is well situated to everywhere you want to be in Guanacaste, and far enough so that the surroundings are peaceful and quiet. We even made friends with the local cats who came to visit. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again if given the privilege.
