Our stay was extremely comfortable and we felt very at home. We all had great night sleeps on comfortable beds with good quality linen and pillows. The air conditioning was very much appreciated on our arrival with the 40 degree day. Communication with our host Narelle was clear and informative. Overall we loved our stay at Hillside Haven and will definitely book again when we return to Broken Hill. Thankyou for providing such a lovely accommodation Narelle⭐️

Our kids loved having baby farm animals right outside our door and being able to help with feeding them. Petah and her farm team were happy to chat and answer questions. Highly recommend the sunset camel ride and great to not have to drive at night after it because we were in the cottage.

A spot of privacy in the heart of town

I stayed for over a week in Gigi’s little flat, and had a lovely time. The space is homely, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I appreciated that I had a space to be able to cook and prepare meals, particularly for a longer stay. Although there could be better ventilation, such as some exhaust fans in the kitchen and bathroom. It was stinking hot in Broken Hill during my stay, but I was comfortable in this flat, as the aircon works very well and kept the space cool. It was an absolute necessity during the extreme summer heat to have that respite. Gigi is very friendly and hospitable, while also respectful of privacy. She knows Broken Hill well, and is a great wealth of knowledge about the history of the area. She does a wonderful walking historic tour of the town centre, and has a friend at the Pro Hart gallery who also gave me a little tour of the museum, which was nice. Gives a great perspective of what life was like in Broken Hill way back when. The character of the place has stayed through all its years as an outback mining town. I suggest making the most of all the amazing sunsets while in the area. There’s so much beauty to be seen and experienced. Go out to Mundi Mundi Plains, the sunset is to die for! And then drop into the friendly folk at the iconic Silverton Hotel on your way back. But if you feel like staying in, the court yard is lovely, and is a nice spot to chill in the evening and listen to the bustling night life. Friday and Saturday nights are a blast! They sure have fun in this town.

Dianne is a responsive host and welcoming. The house is exactly as described, clean comfortable and on the immediate foreshore of Menindee Lake. The sunsets are worth every kilometre travelled from Sydney and the surrounding region has a lot to offer. It was difficult to believe we were deep in the outback looking at the lake each day. We were blessed with clear skies and we have never seen so many stars. A magical find and would love to return again one day.

The place matched the photos accurately. It was a new property and very well maintained. All the rooms were clean and welcoming. There was great air conditioning to keep us cool on the hot afternoon. Darcie was also extremely responsive and helpful when it came to any issues with the home. We had an enjoyable stay at broken hill !

We had a lovely stay at Dallas’s Place. We were very welcomed into the home and we had a very enjoyable stay. The place was perfect for what we required - very easily accessible to the main part of town, a short drive and very affordable for amenities we had. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodation! Would absolutely recommend to anyone heading to Broken Hill :)

This home is so comfortable and homely, sparkling clean and nicely decorated yet free of clutter. Comfortable beds and lots of extra comforts supplied. This was our first visit to Broken Hill and we were nervous if it was a good location but it was the perfect home, we felt safe and comfortable there. Hosts were very communicative too.

Justin's place in Broken Hill was great. The swamp cooler worked perfectly. The front porch was a wonderful spot to sit outside. There was plenty of space. The property had a charming retro style with a perfect balance of old and new elements. Parking was excellent. The location felt very secure. It is definitely a place we would return to if the opportunity arises.

We stayed at Elliot’s place for a week whilst on a work trip. The place had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. Elliot our host was very friendly and helpful and helped us out with anything we needed from clothes washing powder to an umbrella when it rained. The most amazing thing was that Elliot saved us from missing our return flight which was just AMAZING as we would have been in a lot of trouble if we missed our flight!!!! Would highly recommend this place, very comfortable and the best host! Would like to stay here again! Thank you Elliot! 😊

A great location, easily walkable to CBD. Our host was very likeable and helpful. We appreciated the amenities of the apartment, especially the washer and dryer. We enjoyed the food and the art museum here. We wanted to take the RFDS Outback Heritage tour, but it was still closed weeks after the scheduled reopening. We would happily stay here again.

We had a great stay in Broken Hill! The apartment was in a perfect location - an easy walk into the Main Street. The apartment was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Elliot was responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!
