Delightful river views in a quiet location

Thanks to Paul for a great weekend on the river. Clean and tidy house with an epic view. Shed full of games, pool table, ping-pong and darts filled our evenings with fun for the family. Bbq worked well and all cooking appliances supplied. Beautiful and generous welcome basket. Not great for landing / access to the boat. Driveway is extremely steep and a 1 hour round trip by car for fuel for the boat. We loved the peaceful, secluded location and did i mention the view. We will stay again.

Had the best time at the cute Cockatoo Cottage. We went during autumn, which is already beautiful as it is up in the hills, but adding some rain to the equation made everything just a little bit better. The cottage and its surroundings are fully immersed in nature, and you can always see and hear the birds chirping away as they go about their day. It is very clear that Kathy and Michel put a lot of thought and work into making Cockatoo Cottage the perfect nest among the hills, and we couldn't be more happy about staying there. Such an amazing experience, and would recommend to everyone!

A wonderful place to stay that is in a brilliant location close to the Adelaide CBD. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with all the amenities you could need! The hosts are very accessible and have excellent and prompt communication. This is the second time we have stayed and highly recommend and will not hesitate to book again in the future.

My family had the most wonderful stay at Shannon’s place. The home is just beautiful and so much thought has gone into it being a comfortable place to stay. The house is so lovely and spacious plus well equipped for traveling with a toddler. The kitchen had all amenities to be able to cook up baby meals and dinners at home. It couldn’t have been more perfect. Shannon was wonderful to deal with.

Beautiful place to stay, the views are spectacular and it’s very peaceful at Karl and Natalie’s. The space is well designed and modern with comfortable bed and aircon and fans which was much needed on our visit. Enjoyed a wine with Karl which they had made which was a nice touch. Very friendly hosts and a beautiful outdoor deck for relaxing. Highly recommend

Really happy with this large property as our base for a few days. Within easy walk of the town centre, local wine and food places. 4 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a huge lounge, dine and kitchen. Everything was provided, great communication for and a gift or two on arrival. Justifies the Super Host rating. Highly recommend for couples, friends and family stays

In summary, outstanding accomodation in a beautiful location. This would be the best Airbnb we have stayed. The design, comfort and setup, from the kitchen to the bathroom; is five star. We were provided an amazing breakfast selection, bread, croissants, jams and juices, as well as a bottle of wine. Communication was easy. Clearly a lot of thought and effort has been applied to making this a great experience. We will definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at The Retreat—a cosy, comfortable spot right in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. The location couldn’t be more convenient, with an easy walk to all the major events, restaurants, and attractions. It made exploring Adelaide a breeze! The space itself was clean, well-equipped, and felt like a home away from home. The only downside was the lack of included parking, with nearby options costing around $30 a day—something to keep in mind. That said, the location and overall experience more than made up for it. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again! 5 stars.

We loved VineVale. The whole house was warm and welcoming. Large living areas, well stocked kitchen and pantry, fireplace and comfy couches. Pool area was like walking into a European villa, very peaceful. Outdoor bbq and fridge. Even the linens were colour coordinated by room. I hope we get to visit again - thanks Karen

Loved our stay here, we were passing through and only had one night, would love to stay longer in the future! We ended up doing the farm tour on the property and having dinner with a wine pairing at the Watervale Hotel which uses the food from the farm. I would definitely recommend doing this, was the highlight of our trip! Breakfast at the general store in the morning is included in the booking and was delicious. Thanks for having us!!

We had a wonderful stay at Esto House. The house is beautiful, so well appointed, and set within stunning scenery. We very much appreciated the breakfast hamper full of local goodies and the digital guide that had detailed information about the house and area. This was a perfect end to our road trip and a great location to explore the Adelaide Hills. We can highly recommend Esto House and hope to return soon.

The apartment is well located near Adelaide U, museum, Botanic Gardens and Zoo within 20 mins walking distance and right above the main shopping street of Adelaide. The lobby is clean and secure. Apartment is clean and all appliances work well. One queen bed in each of the two bedrooms, comfortable for up to four persons. Love the sunrise each morning!

We came down for Gather Round. After being messed about by another Airbnb, it was a relief to connect with Leandra, who was responsive, helpful and clear. Her place was in a pretty ordinary-looking building (from the outside) but very well located for everything (restaurants, trams to beach, football oval etc) and inside was very clean, comfortable and well presented. She even provided swimming towels and toiletries - which was very helpful given we had carry-on only with us. Thank you.

Loved our stay, wish we had spent more time in Adelaide Hills area rather than the Barossa so much more to do! We stayed in the Bali unit it was amazing. Being from Central Queensland I was a bit worried it would not be warm… it is super warm and cosy. Next time we come back will make sure we build our trip around a cooking lesson… Stay here this place is so worth it!!!

Fantastic location and a beautiful home! Our kids absolutely loved it and kept saying it looked just like our own house. Check-in was smooth, with clear instructions provided, and the home was spotless with all the amenities we could possibly need. Parking was easy, and even though it's close to the CBD, the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. We really appreciated the little thoughtful touches—like a step stool, which came in handy for our 5-year-old daughter. We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed. At checkout, we accidentally left behind our mobile charger. Vivian was incredibly helpful and responsive, making arrangements for us to collect it—thank you! We’re definitely saving this place—next time we visit Adelaide, we’ll be staying here again for sure!

This was my second time staying at Mark and Penny's and it did not disappoint. Their home is an absolute joy to stay at. All the little details and finishes are so appreciated. The home is a museum of collactions from around the world and make you never want to leave the house - but there is so much to do and see in Stirling, you must! The garden is tranquil and lovely at night with the fairy lights twinkling. The freah air, the colourful quirk of the house, the lovely chats with Penny and pups, makes it an excellent stay, one which I will for sure do a third time!
