Holiday rentals with breakfast in Broken Hill

Great home and hosts, will be saving this one for next time we are in town.

Stayed at Alisons beautiful Cummins House for 3 nights with my 80+ year old Mum and 2 of her sisters whilst visiting relatives in beautiful Broken Hill. This property was perfect for our stay as everyone had their own stunning bedrooms and bathrooms whilst enjoying family communal time in the well appointed kitchen and living room. It was a 41º day when we arrived and Alison had turned on all the airconditioners for our arrival, as we entered I overheard my mum say to her sisters "Wow - it's a beautiful oasis!" and that is how I would describe it - the photos are nice but the experience and reality are even nicer. I look forward to returning with my family again some time soon. Thanks!

I stayed for over a week in Gigi’s little flat, and had a lovely time. The space is homely, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. I appreciated that I had a space to be able to cook and prepare meals, particularly for a longer stay. Although there could be better ventilation, such as some exhaust fans in the kitchen and bathroom. It was stinking hot in Broken Hill during my stay, but I was comfortable in this flat, as the aircon works very well and kept the space cool. It was an absolute necessity during the extreme summer heat to have that respite. Gigi is very friendly and hospitable, while also respectful of privacy. She knows Broken Hill well, and is a great wealth of knowledge about the history of the area. She does a wonderful walking historic tour of the town centre, and has a friend at the Pro Hart gallery who also gave me a little tour of the museum, which was nice. Gives a great perspective of what life was like in Broken Hill way back when. The character of the place has stayed through all its years as an outback mining town. I suggest making the most of all the amazing sunsets while in the area. There’s so much beauty to be seen and experienced. Go out to Mundi Mundi Plains, the sunset is to die for! And then drop into the friendly folk at the iconic Silverton Hotel on your way back. But if you feel like staying in, the court yard is lovely, and is a nice spot to chill in the evening and listen to the bustling night life. Friday and Saturday nights are a blast! They sure have fun in this town.

We had a great stay in Broken Hill! The apartment was in a perfect location - an easy walk into the Main Street. The apartment was clean and tidy, and had everything we needed for our stay. Elliot was responsive and easy to communicate with. Definitely recommend!

Andrea came to our rescue when other accommodation didn’t work out. A beautiful cottage with lots of extra special details. I highly recommend staying here if you want to see all the sites of Broken Hill.

Elliot was super friendly and welcoming and went way above and beyond to help me out. His place was exactly what I needed. Clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable bed and linen. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in town. I highly recommend his place!

We had a lovely three nights here. So central for everything. Glynis was super generous with supplies for breakfast and other offerings. We loved our stay here and particularly all the interesting things to experience in the town. I highly recommend a stay in Glynis’s stone cottage. Just a hint - for the best coffee, go to Silverton Bakery!! Will not disappoint!
