Monthly Rentals in Bayman Bay Beach

I highly recommend this place. The view and the surrounding nature are stunning. Lisa and her son Seancarlo are very kind and helpful. I was there for only 1.5 days, and thanks to her recommendations and contacts, I managed to do two hikes and two dives (with Peter Water Sports, whom I also 100% recommend). Lisa's restaurant has a good menu + a good and complete breakfast (included) .

We were a medical volunteer group of nine who stayed at the house for one week. This is my fifth trip to Guanaja. The house was excellent for our large group. The bedrooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. Cynthia was the housekeeper and was available whenever we needed her. Nena was an excellent cook and made wonderful, fresh, and tasty meals. Fresh coffee was made whenever we needed it. They shopped for us before we arrived. We had lots of snacks at the house. We were able to eat dinner together, which was fun. We swam and kayaked in the evenings after we worked in the clinic. Loved everything about the stay. I highly recommend it. Alexander was available to boat us places as needed. He is super timely and a great driver.

Accurately depicted. Upper level: bedroom & bath ensuite, laundry room. Middle level: slightly smaller bedroom (bath across hall & three steps down). Lower level: large fully equipped kitchen/living space, shady porch with lovely view + railings for hanging dive gear. Keith, Laurie & property manager Lisa: very responsive hosts, answering many questions before & after arrival. Excellent recommendations for ferry service, airport transport, etc. Wonderful Derrick & his team!!! At our beck and call for 2 weeks. Great dive sites, shore expeditions, and an emergency run to bring the doctor & the nurse when one of us had a terrible attack of chronic gastritis. Derrick offered to pay the medicos for us!!! Caveats: Guanaja is very remote. The house is isolated. No walking to any amenities but the nearby restaurant. 99 steps from boat to house. Insect repellent: yes. Power outages fairly common. A great & economical adventure on the least touristy island we've ever visited, but be prepared!
