Holiday houses in Sandy Bay

We had an amazing stay! Three adults, one 9 year old and a 1 year old. Chantalle and Paul were absolutely amazing hosts. They live on site so they were around to check us in, make sure we had everything we needed and even let us visit a few times with their very sweet dogs. While they lived in an adjoining space, we still felt privacy and autonomy at the house. Everything was beautifully designed, furnished and super clean. There were bath, beach and pool towels, kitchen supplies-the works! Upon check-out, I was ready to reserve an hour or so to strip beds, launder towels, etc. but Nope! Chantelle told us not to worry about a thing and all would be handled on their end-a very nice surprise. Book this stay, you will be happy!

Our family of 5 stayed at Randall's place for the week of Christmas. If we ever go back to Roatan, I would stay at there again. It was exactly what we were looking for. We had our own beach that was very private. The beach and restaurants of West Bay were easy walking distance. The place itself was very spacious and could easily sleep 8 or more. There was a water problem one morning, but I contacted the property manager and Randal and it was fixed as soon as possible. Our family made some wonderful memories this trip!

We stayed at the Comfy Sloth Suite in Roatan from January 25-31st. We had a fabulous stay and would highly recommend. The location was perfect - steps away from the beach and main strip, but just far enough way from the action to have some quiet when we returned for the evening, which is exactly what we wanted. The accommodations were very clean and modern, the bed was very comfortable, and overall everything was exactly as described. If you plan to cook for yourself, it would be beneficial to stop for groceries (it's an option provided when you book an airport pick up), as there aren't many options for groceries in the area. My only suggestion would be to add some anti-slip tape to the outdoor stairs, as they were very slippery when went. Brian was super helpful answering my questions before we arrived, as was the management team who checked us in and managed the airport pick up. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

What a beautiful place! This is truly a gem. Right on the beach with the comforts of home. We had plenty of space for 3 generations to make great memories. Communication was amazing from start to finish. Omar helped us get everywhere we wanted to go safely and with great recommendations. Nancy met us on arrival, and cooked us an amazing meal. Everyone was friendly and helped us feel special and at home. I do want to mention that there is a large variety of spices and different sunscreen options, so you may not need to purchase these before arriving. Upon arrival, Omar stopped at the grocery store before bringing us all the way to the house. This was sooo helpful. We were able to get everything else we needed from the small store just a short walk down the beach. One of the best parts of this house is the proximity to the beach while being well shaded. We could easily get to the beach without having to stay in the sun all day, this was great for all of us, especially the grandkids.

I almost cried when we checked out. Zoro is an absolute sweetheart. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. We “adopted” a cat that we named Frankie while we were there and Zoro vowed to take care of him when we left. If you see Frankie, give him love from us. Carmela’s Cottage is the perfect place to stay. The beds were super comfortable. There are AC units in each room, but you might not need them due to all the windows. The cottage is stocked with all the amenities you will need. There is a 20 minute walk or 5 minute boat taxi to either West End or West Bay. There are several restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. It isn’t hard to find a boat to take you snorkeling or fishing. Just ask Zoro to get you in touch with Captain Billy. There is not one thing I can complain about with this place. Thank you, Zoro. We had an amazing week.

Always a great stay at Jeff and Michelle’s place. Its location is amazing and they are wonderful hosts. Will definitely return!!

We just stayed in Samueles treehouse and really enjoyed it!! The treehouse is super cute and the garden around it is gorgeous! I was a bit afraid of having bugs and mosquitos in there, but we never had anything crawling or flying in there😊 Samuele and his wife are incredibly friendly and helpful. If we come back to Roatan we would definitely stay there again! If felt like a real adventure. If you‘re a light sleeper bring some earplugs though, the roosters and cats next door are quite active at night.

Can’t say enough about this peaceful location between West Bay and West End. Both areas are worthy of day trips but very busy. Ananta Sun is a great alternative. It’s an easy 2 minute walk from the property to the beach for relaxation, snorkeling and delicious food. Water taxis are plentiful to get you to the busier areas if you do not want to walk. We loved our stay and look forward to returning in the future. Thanks again Guy for sharing your little paradise.

We loved our stay at Turtle Beach. Paul's place is peaceful, inviting, comfortable, and had an incredible view! They take great care of their private beach and have a beautiful dock. There are some great shared spaces on the property too. Paul is a wealth of information and is always happy to help if needed. He was responsive to any requests or questions we had. Our room was fantastic! The crabby cabin is cozy with a comfortable bed and we loved the screened in porch. The location is great as it's a short walk to bars and restaurants at West Bay or a quick water taxi ride to West End. I would recommend Paul's place to everyone and we will definitely be back! ❤️
