Vinod and Shruthi are such amazing hosts. Though we only stayed for a day we enjoyed our time by the river. It was so peaceful and serene. Their house is very simple and neat. Please don't expect anything fancy and luxury but both Vinod and Shruthi are so warm and welcoming and do stay here for the experience. They were really super helpful and responsive to all our needs. They even provided us dinner upon our request since we were really tired after a long journey.I would highly recommend Vinod's place if anyone is planning to do a trek to Ranipuram.

Room is clean and neat with super silent air conditioner, wardrobe with locker and cloth hangers, bedside tables, dressing table, spongy bed with multiple pillows and extra bed in case required. Washroom is clean with hot water and other amenities. Kitchen equipped with all appliances and essential consumables, compact dining arrangement. Inverter & ironing facility also available. Near to Bakel fort and beaches. Thrikkannapuram Thriambakeswara temple. On the bank of Bakel river. Cultivated coconut, arecanut & other fruit plant. An upcoming farm is a good view. Complementary breakfast is served, lunch & dinner to be managed by the guests. Nearby restaurant contacts are made available at the villa. Hospitality is fantastic throughout the stay and reachable over phone at any time for any assistance.

A beautiful home and unbeatable location. We had such a relaxing time and wished we could stay longer. The place is even better than the pictures, and we had the beach to ourselves the whole time. We loved the food deliveries everyday, always excited to see which delicious local dishes would arrive next. Doc is super friendly and accommodating, helped us with transport to the accommodation, local recommendations and even invited us to his place to try the local toddy. We would highly recommend if you want to switch off from the world.

Spent two amazing days at Nila Paithal and had a wonderful time. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made for a perfect family getaway. From beautiful valley view & sunset on Day 1 to caretaker Manoj's must try homemade recipes Mathi Curry, Mathi Fry & Chicken Varatharachathu 😍 Uphill offroading arrangements by Pooja on a Vintage Mahindra Jeep to Paithalmala point & coming back to have some delicious Kerala Meals with Chicken Fry From having Inhouse music speakers, barbeque chicken grills to Netflix n chill nights From Steaming Puttu & Kadala Curry, Delicious Dosa Chutney as breakfast options to knowing Manojettan's secret ingredients. It was a trip to remember with mesmerizing views, calmness, nature's touch & experience of great hospitality by the Anand & Pooja who have planned everything precisely for the guests across generations. A special shoutout to Manoj, the caretaker, who was exceptional—extremely helpful and welcoming. Will definitely visit again!
