This place was awesome and exactly as pictured! Nice gardens to walk around and look at flowers and vegetables growing or sit outside and bird watch. Highly recommend this place and these hosts! Easy drives to lots of pretty places. We saw kangaroo and koala in the wild on our day trips and stunning scenery! Beds were comfortable as were other furnishing. Nice shower, wish I’d had time to try to jacuzzi tub. Decor was nice and beautiful artwork on the walls. Really nice place!

We had the most relaxing stay at Rebecca's cottage, it was the perfect spot to unwind. The house is so comfy it was very easy to just settle in and enjoy the spa and record player. The location is perfect, easy to explore the sights of the Great Ocean Road and with a great view of the ocean for when we wanted to chill out. Rebecca provided us a great list of local things to see and do which was so helpful for planning our time. The house had everything we needed, a full equipped kitchen, books and birdseed to feed the local birds. There was plenty of wildlife around which was great fun to spot from the balcony. Thank you Rebecca for having us, we loved every minute and wouldn't hesitate to come back!

The cottage is just as advertised. Very clean, very comfortable, very charming. Only stayed one night. Sorry we didn’t plan to stay longer.

We stayed at Rebecca and Sav's peaceful retreat after 3 nights hiking on the great ocean walk. It is all you could need, comfortable and in a truly spectacular location.

Thank you Alex, our holiday exceeded all my expectations! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could ask for. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the beach and a short drive into Apollo Bay. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space, which was great for relaxing after a day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I can't wait to return!

Rickie-Lee's place was clean and was fully stocked with amenities and things we could use to make our stay great. We made full use of the BBQ and fire pit. Beds were really comfy and the house was well insulated which would be great for the colder months.

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

Such a beautiful home with great decor. Really felt at home and was perfect. Fur babies had everything that required with water bowls and secure rear yard very private. Fornt decking was great and also secured. Very clean and tidy and Joanne was so welcoming.. Joanna has thought of everything.. thank you again..

I stayed here for one night and it was lovely. The views are absolutely amazing, the area is great, and the house is very comfortable with plenty of space. Annika met me at check in to show me round and was very friendly. Her dog, Mali, was also very friendly and well behaved when she came to say hello, staying outside the house. Would love to stay again if in the area, thank you Annika!

Such a beautiful place to stay, the perfect location with a perfect balance between secluded, serene nature and being walkable to amazing shops and cafes. Very close to the most beautiful beach. All possible amenities were available with so many personable touches around the house to welcome. The hosts were super attentive with every detail of the stay mapped out and explained, as well as being so warm and welcoming to make you feel so at home!

We absolutely love hideaway, the location is stunning and the home looks like something straight out of a fairytale. This was our second time staying there (eloped in the redwoods nearby) and had a totally magical week at hideaway. The wood fire is perfect to keep you warm, the pizza oven does great pizzas and the glowworms just a walk up the road were a real highlight.

Stacy, you are a wonderful lady and we are so thankful for your generosity and empathy shown to us on the day we arrived by providing us dinner as we had no place to go on the PH. You really saved us that night. Very nice, comfortable, convenient and cozy place to spend some quality time when away from home.Highly recommend this place. Thanks again :)

Wow! This place is amazing. We were a family group of 10. Two families of four and two grandparents. As a group we ranged from highly active to reduced mobility (walker) and it was an ideal environment for us all to explore and reconnect, over and over. There was something for everyone. The swimming pool was brilliant and it was a real treat to be swimming and looking at sheep and horses grazing in the paddock, with rolling hills and bush beyond. The kitchen was great and the dining table fit us all, so we enjoyed dinner around the table together each night after bushwalking the various tracks. We thought three nights would be enough to do everything as the property looked to be reasonably remote, but we were wrong. There is so much to explore in the local towns and within the property. We loved it so much that we are already booking again for next year! Highly recommend if you want space to relax, bushwalk, and reconnect with loved ones. I could say more but I've run out of words!

We were absolutely blown away by Jade’s place. Everything was so thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful bath products, to the tasteful decor & the extra attention paid to creature comforts. A quick stroll/drive to the main strip - with some fantastic food in town (Birregurra Grocer, Royal Mail Hotel). We were lucky enough to catch the farmer’s market (first Sunday of every month). We were charmed by the kitchen with its subway tiles & the living space was the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after a day exploring. Our dog Theo loved it too & we could tell that he felt right at home. Would recommend staying at Billie’s & we loved Birregurra.

The Nook was a beautiful cottage to stay in for a couple of nights. The house was spacious, very clean and full of character. And the backyard and rural surroundings were beautiful and provided plenty of space for the kids to run around.

Highly recommend Geoff’s place for a peaceful getaway. Lots of nature walks in the area and plenty to spot from the deck on the property as well (Koalas, kangaroos, birds). The house was impeccably cleaned, with a gorgeous fireplace and plenty of books to read and DVD’s to watch which was a lovely extra touch. Geoff was really helpful, had plenty of local knowledge and was great for a chat as I was coming and going. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

This was our second time staying at Lara Short Stays ... and, to be honest, it is now the first place we check for accommodation when we are visiting Lara / Geelong region. Julie is very easy to communicate with and the property is fabulous, inside and out!! Even with other guests on the homestead grounds, it is peaceful and quiet. Dad and I look forward to many future stays in the Hidden Cottage!!

Anna’s place was just perfect. Exactly like the photos and description. Anna even provided a homemade fresh loaf of bread and some Easter choccies which was such a treat! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is the perfect spot! It’s a decent drive to Apollo bay for restaurants but having the quiet serenity and local wildlife at our doorstep made it worthwhile. Highly highly recommend Anna’s place. Can’t recommend enough!

Cute, quaint and peaceful! A wonderful stay at Claire’s property. Well furnished, very warm and cozy. Bathroom and kitchen facilities were excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

It started with a very helpful prompt response helping us with our late booking and arrival that day, accommodating us and quick check-in so we could rush to a nearby wedding. The space was very beautiful and tranquil with nearby walks in the Otways national park less than a 100m from the house. It had excellent clean crisp and comfortable bedding and sheets. A great kitchen(and utensils)/lounge/entertainment areas for cooking, lounging by the fire, watching tv, bbq on the deck and tea on the balcony all of which overlooks a beautiful creek and the local animals that come everyday. The only thing we could complain about was having to leave. If it weren't for responsibilities at home we would have extended our stay to soak up the house and it's surroundings. Thankyou we really appreciated 🙏🏾

Wye dream is an absolute delight. Thank you so much for hosting us, Michelle & Matthew. We loved it so much. Sleeping to the sounds of the waves was a tonic. With kangaroos & kookaburra in the backyard it was a quintessential holiday stay. It’s also really rare to find an Airbnb with full linen included and a fabulously appointed kitchen with an ocean view! There so much light & air in the house it feels easy to be in. It’s not flashy…it’s warm and comfortable & spacious. The location is perfect. Not such an uphill hike but still has views of the ocean from the excellent bedrooms. It’s better than the pictures! For anyone wanting to stay in Wye River, pub & general stores are absolute delights and it’s a great base to explore further afield. Thanks so much again. We really hope to come back!
