Our stay was the highlight of our travels through Himachal Pradesh. This is a hidden gem in the mountains. It takes a little while to hike up, about 1 hour for able bodied persons, but it is so worth it. The place is totally secluded high on the mountain, so beautiful, peaceful, and has a world class view. Om Prakash ji and Asha ji were wonderful and very attentive hosts. They cooked for us on our last night there and it was delicious. Om Prakash took us to the summit of Labhri top. He spent the whole day hiking with us and packed us a lunch of parathas and chai. It cost extra (1,500 Rs), but highly recommend it for those who like hiking and lead an active lifestyle. Pretty strenuous hike at times, but the view from the top makes it all worth it. The journey is quite beautiful too. All in all the place, our hosts - Om Prakash and Asha, and our time there was completely charming. We really hope to return soon.

About the Host/Caretaker- Kaveti (Host) was responsive from booking till checkout. Although he was not there, but was checking up on us via phone continuously. Being a total new to this place, i wasn't aware of what to visit but our Host Kaveti had a guide book which helped us in deciding what to visit but unfortunately we couldn't because of snow and rain. Caretaker Pooja didi makes finger licking food and an amazing host. She even made local food for us which also tasted good. About the Property- It was a 10-15 min downtrek from an off road with steep slopes to short plain trail. We had a rucksack and a trolley bag (not recommended if planning a trip in woods) but Hemu bhai (husband of Pooja didi) and their children helped us in taking our luggage to the property. They were like goat of Himalayas compare to us. 😅 Who can visit- Couple, Group of 4-5 people, couple with pet. Believe me, your pet would love to revisit. Not recommended for old people with knee or heart or lung issue.

Guddu bhaiya and Inder bhaiya are the perfect hosts. The place is amazing with great, expansive and majestic views. The home cooked food is amazing please try their kadhi, paneer parathas, saag, and the great red rhododendron chutney. Please try the bonfire. The place is well maintained and has apple and plum trees which gives it a ‘jungle’ look. Guddu bhaiya is an excellent host and knows how to make you feel at home. Would definitely recommend this property for a silent, peaceful and a life altering getaway.
