Beautiful house, with everything you need to not want to go out, we were able to observe a beautiful sunset from the balcony, the jacuzzi was spectacular, the house has everything you need for a luxury stay. Juan Gabriel and Ana had excellent communication. Taking into account is that if you have a light sleep it is advisable to wear ear plugs since there is a road that passes nearby and you tend to hear the noise of the vehicles.

Beautiful space with a beautiful view! The grounds were phenomenal, the hot tub great and the location was perfect for all the nearby activities. Would love to be back!

About 20 minutes from the airport. Spectacular views both at night and during the day. Very private and secure behind two gates.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The property was extremely clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe within its gated walls. While there weren’t any scenic views, the location was super convenient—just a short drive to downtown, making it easy to explore the area. One of the best parts was having our own private pool, which made for a perfect way to relax after a day of adventure. The hot tub does take a while to heat, but once it does, it’s a great addition to the experience. Overall, this was a comfortable and secure place to stay, and we really appreciated the privacy and convenience. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and well-located home base in Costa Rica!

Wow! What an awesome place! The design and architectural style of this house shows excellence in spatial layout, decor and functionality. It has a Balinese influence that is absolutely stunning with wood, bamboo and stone everywhere. Even the grout in the tile floors looks like bamboo inlay. Natural, comforting and inviting with all kinds of birds singing and playing in the backyard. Love the sliding doors. They open up the house to an already well proportioned space. With cool breezes and sweet views this is a really amazing house and property. Just a 7 minute very enjoyable drive to town. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. Really nice people.

We had an amazing stay at Ruth's in Punta Islita. The area is quiet, and locals are super friendly. Great restaurants close by, and the beach is beautiful and only a 10 minute walk down the road. There's plenty of amazing things to do close by; ziplining, dolphin & snorkeling tours, horseback riding, sunset walks on beaches you have all to yourself! And when you need a break, or a chance to cool off, Ruth's house is just perfect. Nestled in the trees you can have a swim in the pool, or relax and watch monkeys playing in the trees above you. Can't say enough about how great our stay was at Ruth's!

This home was perfect for our travels. We had no issues, and with questions, Valeria was always kind and responsive. The views were stunning and the wildlife was more than we could have imagined. The Merlin bird ID is a must! I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to experience the beauty and peace that Atenas and Costa Rica have to offer.

We had an amazing one night stay after getting in on a late flight to SJO. It was so close to the airport and felt like an oasis in the city. It was a great value for our money. We loved our stay and would definitely book again!

The pool and outdoor area were beautiful—! My son loved everything about it, though I found the room a bit small for my preference. The location is fantastic, with plenty to do and explore. We visited the natural hot springs, Baldi Hot Spring, the charming downtown area with its great restaurants and local shops, hiked to Arenal Volcano and other nearby waterfalls. There were also lots of games and activities around the house that we didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy. I only wish I had booked a longer stay. Overall, a wonderful place!

Maricel was a wonderful host. She was responsive, flexible and kind. We were able to arrange luggage hold with her next door Aunt who was also very kind to us. Location is close to the airport and her neighbors seem to keep a close eye on things. We also enjoyed the local kitties who came to visit. Place was spotless.

This place is such a hidden gem! It’s in a peaceful mountain area with stunning views—perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle. The building itself has a really unique and artistic style, which makes it stand out, and it’s just as beautiful inside. The property is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It felt like a home away from home. Pedro, the host, was very responsive and friendly, which made the experience even better. I’ve already recommended this place to a few friends, and I’ll definitely be keeping it in mind for a return trip. Highly recommend!

AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

Jorge is a very welcoming and very present host. Inside, the property is basic corresponding to the photos The grounds with direct access to Rio Blanco its swimming pool and gazebo is spectacular The location of the villa is perfect for the park, Leona Falls and grocery store! We recommend!

This was an amazing get away for my family. The pool is amazing the space is very spacious and the kitchen well equipped. It’s the perfect location for a big group we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant near the house.

This was our 2nd time staying at Villa Hermosa. We enjoyed our stay here so much 2 years ago that when we were considering returning to Costa Rica, Villa Hermosa had to be on our list. The place is a gem really. Think botanical gardens with winding gravel paths beneath palm trees and tropical plants. There are birds galore and a pasture behind the property with cows. The pool area is exactly as seen in the photos- an immense space where we enjoyed our breakfasts each morning. The 2 separate cottages are on opposite ends of the property, maybe 50 metres apart and the main living space (kitchen, dining) is outdoors under the main building's roof. Keep this in mind as this might not be for everyone but we loved it. There can be some loud traffic noise on the main road at times so as a light sleeper, I preferred the small Toucan cottage further from the road. The hosts live on site and are such genuine, kind people as well as being highly responsive and helpful. We loved our stay!

The house and the place is very nice, only to go to the pool area if there is a bit of access for people with motor disabilities. Everything is great, recommended.

Edgar was a great host. He was responsive and always helpful staying in touch messaging. Since this was our first time in Costa Rica, we didn't know of where else to plant roots for a week. His place did the trick. Beautiful open floor plan, picturesque everyday from sun up to sunset. Not knowing the area to much you are out about 20 to 30 minutes from bigger townships. The stay was remarkable though. We played on the beach daily and saw limited crowds, we utilized a private chef (magnificent) and enjoyed our friends company while we visited. All in all, an easy ride as we ziplined Carara Park, had great food in Jaco Beach, hiked and swan. Plenty of 🌞, 🍻 , 🏄‍♂️ and fun. Enjoy, Pura Vida!

5 stars doesn't even come close to describing our time here, 10 stars comes closer!. The home is well kept, the views to die for, and for us being remote is always a plus. Did I mention the pool was wonderful and our host, exceptional. When our travels bring us back this way, we will be sure and check out availability here before any place else.

My family and I were delighted! We loved the whole house and its details, it's really beautiful, and of course the pool area was especially enjoyed by everyone. We are very grateful for the attention provided. Highly recommended! 10/10 ✨
