Above the Gulf House: Spectacular Ocean View!

Surrounded by the forest the house is set off the ground and has huge windows to give it spectacular views of the forest canopy and Nicoya Gulf. The large rooms and Queen size beds provide comfort, all the essentials plus more are provided. Located close to town but extremely private it is ideal as a base to enjoy all of Monteverdes attractions and is an attraction in itself that provides the peace to rest after a full day of activities. Close by restaurants and markets are very convenient.

The Posada Colonial is exclusive to each family or group, secured, gated and central to all activities. The home and studio apartment face the Rio La Palma and the famous Arenal Volcano. We have WI-Fi, Sky TV, Air Conditioning, patio dining and all surrounded by flowers, birds, butterflies and can accommodate up to 12 people. Our beautiful house is on a quiet, paved street. A large outdoor dining space, a small stream, tropical birds, and tall trees. Two private bedrooms have queen beds; a spiral staircase leads to a large, OPEN, loft (3rd bdrm) with two NEW twin beds (sleeps total of 6), and air mattress (sleeps 1), if needed. Perfect for families! An en-suite bathroom is in the master bedroom with a NEW queen bed!! Fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size washer/dryer. Enjoy!
