Superb! In every aspect. Basically I’d just like to repeat what every other reviewer has said! This is a wonderful place, made even better by the kindness and warm of Kanil and his parents. Each time I left the apartment for the day’s outing I looked forward to returning! It’s such a great space to just be there, listening to sounds of the birds. One of my best Airbnb experiences in 10 years of Airbnbing.

I had a wonderful 3 weeks or so stay at Mervin's place. I was working remotely and the place was well-suited for that with reliable wifi, peace and quiet. His house is well equipped for both short term and long term stays and is very comfortable with all amenities. Kandy city is just 1.7 km or so away which made access easy as it is 30 min walk and a great way to explore the city. Nice vegan cafes in Kandy city. My brother visited me here and he found the place really enjoyable to relax and unwind as well. Mervin is very gracious, generous and very responsive host with clear communication from the start and always helpful for anything you need during the stay which made the stay very pleasant. Mervin's wife and at times his mother made us amazing food, teas which I thoroughly enjoyed and was very grateful for their generosity and hospitality. They are a lovely family. If you are looking to enjoy a quiet and peaceful time in Srilanka, I would highly recommend Mervin's home!

What a stunning place! A slice of Santorini in Sri Lanka. The private pool was a highlight, as were seeing monkey’s from the bathroom window in the mornings. Also a convenient five minute TukTuk away from the city centre. Loved this stay and would recommend to anyone staying in Kandy.

Jason and Amali’s place is beautiful beyond the description. It’s nestled amongst nature and is beautifully designed. If you love nature then this is the place to be. Surrounded by trees it’s also filled with birds (flycatchers, peacocks, hornbills and many more) and animals (monkeys and even barking deer which you can see from the balcony). We stayed for only 3 days, but we would definitely come back for more.
