Stayed here for a month. Excellent Performance/Cost ratio. Bright, spacious, cozy apartment. Fully equipped kitchen. Good location - beach, shops within walking distance, close to the railway and bus station. You don't need a bike. If you need a tuk-tuk, use the Pick me app. Friendly, helpful host, always available. English is good. Drove us from the airport and to the next place for a good price.

Really wonderful Air BnB spot in Sri Lanka. Excellent communal spaces, including pool and living room area. 6 gorgeous days spent at the villa: waking up Christmas Day here was lovely. Such wonderful staff - especially Clifford who couldn’t do enough to please 8 guests plus one baby. Breakfast was tasty and catered to each person’s requests. Although not much to do in Ambalangoda, Hikkaduwwa is only 15 minutes away by car so we spent our time there for dinners. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to families or friends needing a big space not too far from the busier spot of Hikkaduwwa. The only gripe I would say is the WiFi - make sure you have plenty of this as it’s not too strong here, but who needs WiFi when you have a view like that!

SeDi villa is a very special place to stay. The villa itself is beautiful, with such a lush backdrop. The bedrooms are very large, each with an impressive en-suite. The indoor-outdoor living is peaceful and helps you connect with the nature around you. We have been surprisingly unaffected by mosquitoes. The pool and garden have been enjoyed by all of us. Amila and his family are what has made our stay extra special. They have been very kind and helped us have a meaningful stay, giving us many Sri Lankan experiences.
