We had a great week at Marina’s house. A perfectly located house to enjoy this beautiful island. Marina and her parents were super helpful, providing great recommendations that helped us make the most of our time on Folegandros.

the most spectacular view of sea, sky and mountain! in one direction you can see the sun rise, and in the other, the sun set. at night, a blanket of stars. truly peaceful and serene . inside you have all the amenities you need. it is ideal! there is a beautiful - but steep - hike down in front of the property to a cute little beach. this is best in the morning. also a 20-minute walk to Chora, but I loved the freedom of having a car to explore this stunning island. the cats on the property are the sweetest!! Marina was so easy and helpful to communicate with. and Poly is the best human!! so friendly, warm and funny. she went above and beyond, I honestly cant wait to come back.

This is a beautiful traditional Cycladic house overlooking a spectacular bay. It’s a twenty minute walk to Chora and there are footpaths some of the way. Returning from the village at night felt a bit dangerous since there are no lights and you are walking nearly in the road. We’d recommend renting a car so you can enjoy a late dinner. Lisbet was great. Be sure to visit her family’s cafe Pountas in Chora with its lovely back garden.
