An ideal place if you are looking for peace and relaxation and want to explore the great nature around Lauwersmeer. It was really super nice!

We had a lovely stay with Janet and Auke in the back house. It was very homely, felt right at home. A lot of attention was certainly paid to the decor and everything you need is present. We definitely recommend this lovely cottage and would love to come back again!

Such a nice, peaceful and cosy place! We stayed here to discover the Lauwersmeer with its variety of birds. It was lovely to start the day peaceful and end it cosy at Hans-Eriks place. Definitely would recommend! Would love to come back in a different season as well.

Thea gave us a very friendly welcome. With conviviality and accurate information about the surrounding area. She did a remarkable job of renovation adapted to the constraints related to the classification of this farmhouse of very beautiful proportions. A very nice place for a break...For us a short rest/respite stay with a quality connection for the imponderables of work and very nice walks in the discovery of the neighboring villages with very beautiful heritage homes too. We highly recommend! Thank you also for the small services offered (bikes, Netflix...) Happy hosting!

The location is great, the two double bedrooms are particularly nicely decorated. The kitchen and dining area are a little dark, which is due to the special location, so no deduction, you can also turn on the lights during the day. The bathrooms are nice and very clean; especially the large bathroom on the upper floor is really great. Kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, TV is huge! With the mattresses and pillows, we six residents were very different (un)satisfied (is also not really unusual); depending on the personal sensitivity, it is worth bringing your own pillow. The terrace is very nicely located, could have been a little cleaner. We liked it very much and we are happy to recommend the apartment, it is suitable for groups of adults as well as for families with children.

We had a wonderful time in Groningen! Unfortunately, we were not able to really enjoy the garden due to the weather, but we still made ourselves very comfortable in the apartment. The apartment is very nicely decorated and the location is top - central but very quiet. Thank you for everything!

We really enjoyed our stay in this rustic and comfortable apartment. It is very spacious and has everything you need. The heater works well and fast. The garden looked very nice as well. We especially enjoyed the bed in the little nook - it was so cosy! It also gave us an illusion of a spacial separation to the baby travel bed. The cherry on the cake was the Roelie's breakfast: simple and delicious!!

Jacqueline is a very nice and attentive host. The house was very clean and everything was present. Highly recommended!

We spent three nights in the house with 6 people over New Year's Eve. Everything was perfect and available as described. There was nothing missing. Check in and Check out was easy and flexible to handle via a lockbox. House was clean and cozy. If we ever move near Burum again, we'll be happy to come back. The communication was easy and the service great. Our cars were even thought of over New Year's Eve, so we were allowed to safely store them on the private property. Thank you!

A great place to relax and come down. Super cozy living room and much nicer than in the photos. Klazien was very kind and responded quickly. If you need more wood, Klazien even brings it to the door. We had a lovely break! Thank you 🥰

Perfect time of year, would be too busy in the summer months. the white rug in the living room isnt a good idea when staying with dogs in the woods. we removed it during our stay. maybe a mirror in the loo? extra utensils and more sharp knives. place mats also a good idea. but saying that it was all we to do.

The best neighborhood , a minute walk from downtown and a place that feels just like home! Timnette and her husband welcomed us to their beautiful home and very lovely people . We checked in early because we arrived early but enjoyed the walk straight after in the area. Plenty of restaurants around , supermarket is 5 minutes walking and home was fully equipped with everything. I wish we stayed for longer it was th perfect holiday home. Thank you for making our stay super memorable with my mother 🫶🏼

My partner and I had fabulous time at Angeline's lovely house. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. The decoration was lovely. Angeline was always kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Groningen.

Julian is a responsive host. His apartment offers a quiet, natural light-filled home with a very comfortable bed in a modern well-appointed space. It was very clean upon arrival and the washer/dryer was great to have since we had been traveling already 10 days. Julian was very agreeable in getting the key to our daughter who lives in the town since we were arriving very late. What we wish we had known/understood: the apartment is up three flights of a tight spiral staircase; while not cluttered at all it’s clear that it’s the owners living space (e.g. no ability to use closet because personal items were there) and food items were in the fridge and cabinets. Again, not cluttered, but it just surprised us. The listing notes that there’s a private office area (& shows photos) however that was marked private with a closed door and full of the owner’s items. The apartment was very convenient to our daughter’s apt and Julian was very flexible; we would love to stay again!

We had a lovely stay at this property. We spent a weekend in Groningen and enjoyed the time very much. The accommodation has all you need for a few days. Unfortunately, there is no oven, but if you know this beforehand, you can plan accordingly and still prepare delicious meals. The parking space on the premises was also pleasant. We felt very well taken care of here and safe.

I enjoyed it very much and are more than happy to recommend the apartment. My dog and I were guests for 2 months in this beautiful, old and spacious building with great garden and outdoor seating. There is everything you need to cook, relax or learn about the area. The contact with Andrea worked great. Thank you very much.
